- The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa
- If Cats Disappeared from the World by Genki Kawamura
- any books from Murakami?
There is one common point with all these books: there are cats in them. It's not a coincidence that there are cats in so many Japanese books - just as in Turkish cultures - cats are an important part of the culture in Japan, as well. Let's have a discussion and analysis about these books (or all of them). I'm interested in hearing your opinion and would like to give you some more recommendation about reading about cats. During this lesson, we will also look into the following questions:
- Why are cats so special?
- How are cats and witches related to each other?
- What superstition do different nations have about cats?

とても楽しいレッスンでした。猫が登場する文学についてのレッスンでしたが、先生の考察はとても深くて興味深かったです。また、よく生徒の話に耳を傾けてくださる先生だと思います。英語の勉強だけでなく、文学の中の猫が何を象徴しているのか考えるきっかけにもなりました。 また受講したいと思います。2023年8月18日
