This is a portrait of Anne Lister, 1791-1840. She came from Yorkshire, England, and described her lesbian and gender nonconforming experiences in secret code in her diaries.
Learn about the lives and times of the varied LGBTQ people in Britain's past.
After the lesson, I shall send you links to independent reading material to follow up the people and the topics which we have discussed.
