English at the Workplace
课程介绍
The context within you learn a language and acquire it for work-specific reasons is therefore important.
This lesson is aimed at teaching English at the Workplace and is designed to polish your English communication skills so that you can deliver your message to your co-workers confidently and effectively.
Use this lesson to acquire:
> general vocabulary at work,
> occupation-specific vocabulary and phrases within your specialisation.
Through this lesson, you can acquire a common range of vocabulary terms that arise through
1)conversations when dealing with people at work - bosses, co-workers, clients, customers
2)familiarise with terminology commonly used at meetings.
3) workplace issues and challenges
This lesson is recommended to be taken as a series of lessons. (A lesson pack can be created if you intend to apply for 4 lessons or more where each lesson will be priced lower)
Please allow sufficient time before your 1st class to enable lesson materials to be customized to your needs that will benefit you. To do this, please drop me a message describing your job role and work and the task you are facing difficulty with.
Here are some examples:
I have to chair a meeting soon but I do not know what to say during the meeting.
I need to communicate with my global partners and want to learn some phrases for different professional conversations I am to have with them
I need to negotiate a deal with a client
I am trying to understand the quality standards in order to explain them to someone else in my company in English
Also please note:
1) If more than 1 person wishes to attend, lesson prices will differ.
2) If your situation is more complex, please book an English Consult lesson so that lessons can be customised to fit your specific need.
