• Shadowing: Practice shadow reading and shadowing short passages and audio clips from native media. The instructor will provide you with real time feedback on your pronunciation and intonation while you practice speaking at native or near-native speeds. Passages can be prepared based on your interests and English level, or you can send a piece of text or audio that you would like to practice with.
• Vocabulary Builder: Build up a bank of new vocabulary words and phrases and practice spontaneously recalling words. You and the instructor will each come up with a list of words related to a topic and compare. The instructor will explain any new words and help group words with similar meanings together so you can quickly incorporate them into your English vocabulary.
• Would You Rather...?: Practice spontaneous English conversation by debating a hypothetical choice. For example, "Would you rather see 10 minutes into the future or 200 years into the future?" Pick your answer, explain your choice, and have a fun discussion!
• 2-Minute Speaking Challenge: The instructor will challenge you to speak on a topic for 2 minutes without stopping.
