For the Intermediate /Advanced English learner. Do you like mystery, classics, fantasy stories? Let`s practise your English reading skill, learn new words with a book from my book club list. Lets read the novel and discuss as we go.

Let`s practise your English reading skill, learn new words, focus on pronunciation, discuss the topics of the chapters and book while we read my book club novels together!
You can choose to do this lesson in two ways :
1. We read together in class and go through the book together or
2. You read the chapter in advance and then during class time you can as your questions about phrases , words you didn`t understand and we will discuss your optinon and thoughts on the chapter assignment.
Feedback will be provided at the end of the lesson. Below you will find a list of books good for different level readers.
Trial lesson: I will send you the introduction section of the book you choose for this lesson, so you can make your decision about continuing the class, before buying the book.
You will need to buy the book in English, its avalaible from amazon.co.jp.
Books maybe changed or added to select from throughout the year.
Please choose a book club book from the below lists:
Advanced novels: most of these books are for age 17 and older though a few are listed for younger ages please read the list carfully.

3. The Immortal Rules ( age 17 and older )
4. Alice in Wonderland (Classic Fantasy novel) For age 12 and older
5. The Sun Down Motel ( Thriller/ Mystery)
6.Roomies ( Romance )
7. Howl`s Moving Castle or Triology stories is also avalaible ( books 1-3) for age 12 and older .
8. The little prince -- ( age 9-12)
9. Starling ( book1 ) -- ( age 13 and older)
10. The Neverending Story -- ( age 10 and older )
11. Chronicles of Narina ( all 7 books) -- (age 10 and older)
12. The Hunger Games ( Fantasy ) For age 14 and older -- book 2 and 3 also avaliable .
13. The Cactus -- ( Adult ) General Fiction
14. Uncommon Grounds -- ( Mystery- Adult)
15. Anne of Green Gables ( Classic Canadian Novel) For age 12 and older
16. A Wrinkle in Time ( Mystery/ Fantasy ) also the book An Acceptable Time ( can be read as stand alone) For age 12 and older
17. One Long Weekend --( adult ) - uses British English
18. Familiaris ( Adult ) Literary fiction - This is my most favourite book -- but it is very long around 1000 pages this would be a long project.

5. The Hollow (book 1 of the Hollow Triolgy ) -- if you`d like to continue with the book 2 and 3 they are avaliable. For age 14 and older

8. Harry Potter Book 1, 2 or 3 or 4 ( Fantasy ) For age 12 and older

12. Radience ( book1 ) for age 9 and older -- books 2, 3 and 4 are avaliable if you would like to continue the series.
