Iwa sensei provides a very well structured lesson. She was fun to talk to and was easy going, able to switch topics and continue with conversation while at the same time providing feedback in the chat box. I was able to see the correct spelling of words including the kanji. Sensei is very thorough and effective. Her materials during the class were excellent. It was easy to understand. She is also able to explain in English when I got stuck. All around a great lesson and great teacher. I look forward to seeing her again.

I really really enjoy learning Japanese with Iwa sensei. It's our first Diary class and I did learn a lot. I submitted my diary a day before and have receid the first correction from Iwa sensei. In class we discussed not only the grammar mistakes but also discuss the ideas of my diary. I'm looking forward to our next class.

Studying with Iwa-sensei was very easy to understand, she gave good materials and very easy to talk to. I've been very dissatisfied with my Japanese skill lately since I don't use it too much, but sensei gave a lot of praises so it motivates me a lot to give it my best without forcing myself too much and enjoy the lesson. As always Iwa-sensei was incredibly professional. We talked about many different topics and she taught me a large number of new words.
She is incredibly skilled at leading the conversation so that you can just focus on answering questions and using the vocabulary that she taught you. Needless to say she is also very patient and kind when teaching at all times. I highly recommend her! -

As always, Iwa sensei was incredibly enthusiastic and patiently listened to me talk for a long time!
She is a very skilled listener and makes you feel incredibly comfortable at all times.
Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, she caters to your level and
notes down any useful information so that you can review it for later. In the feedback she writes
example sentences and definitions for words so that you have everything you need to try using the words yourself.
I highly recommend her as your Japanese teacher!
