When I learn languages, I like to research histories, cultures, and people there. It's very interesting, and that information makes my interest even more exciting.

I’ve been learning Tagalog (or Filipino) since a month ago with Teacher Judy. Through her lessons, I learned not only language itself but also their history and culture in the Philippines.
Filipino are very friendly and lovely people. They financially support their parents and take care of them at home until the end of their lives. It’s very different from Japan. Modern Japanese young people tend to forget about their parents and do send them to the nursing home. It’s becoming one of the modern cultures in Japan. -

I learned a very important thing about Philippines today that even though we can’t communicate with Filipinos in Tagalog, Filipinos really admire and respect the efforts that we try to speak using Tagalog. Additionally, even though we can’t speak in Tagalog well, we can use English and “po” at the end of the sentences to show respect Filipinos and they feel love from it.

I can highly recommend this teacher talking about teenage. Since she was an high school teacher in private school, she knows a lot about teens. Their feelings, their personal problems and the solutions.

I learned today about future perfect continuous tense. The grammar is complicated but teacher Judy kindly taught me this tense. I will have been mastering some of advanced grammar for next 3 months :)

Teacher Judy established a positive classroom atmosphere as she is kind and fun to talk to. I'd recommend her if you want to learn Tagalog as she teaches in talks or speaks with you in an easy-to-understand manner.
