Yuri Sensei is a master of juggling the fun part of having a Japanese lesson with the serious goal of improving language skills. I am improving all the time with Yuri Sensei, but it feels like fun. A wonderful class.

The review tag of "good for solid study' rings true for Yuri Sensei who is a master of the use of 30 minutes. Yuri Sensei's lessons are full of fun and exploration of the Japanese language and I am often left thinking we have achieved something and worked hard together.

Today's lesson went so fast. We were able to pack a lot of things into 30 minutes and I really felt like we had accomplished a lot in that time. It has been beneficial for me to think about what I would like to include in these lessons. Yuri Sensei's classes are such a safe place to try new things as well as go over even basic things I didn't understand well before. My kanji reading has improved and I feel more confident about reading new material. Very much looking forward to the next one.

I have started to see kanji and vocabulary again after studying it with Yuri Sensei and recognising new words in podcasts and while reading. I have been really able to retain the words we have learnt together and I remember what Yuri Sensei said long after the lesson. I am very motivated to carry on and very much enjoying these lesson.

Fun and engaging lesson today where we discussed a Japanese podcast and the vocabulary that went with it. Yuri Sensei is very fun and energetic. I am really enjoying these lessons.

Chatting with Yuri Sensei is such a pleasure. I forgot I was speaking Japanese. Yuri Sensei provides a great environment to relax and enjoy the time spent with her. I enjoyed talking about my day and then we went over recently learned kanji. I am very much looking forward to my next lesson and feeling very motivated.

It is good to talk completely in Japanese. The teacher will offer comments and correct words and phrases immediately so that I can easily repeat them and memorize soon.
