I had a great class with Lumiko-sensei. This is definitely a uniquely-themed class! Lumiko-sensei prepared interesting ukiyo-e images featuring cats and then we talked about them. She also provided helpful feedback with corrections after class. I had a good time! Lumiko先生、ありがとうございました！

先生 is patient. She made sure I understood before going to next sentences. She would read sentences repeatedly to make sure my pronunciation correctly. She corrected my pronunciation which I like it very much. My pronunciation is bad. Most of Japanese teachers I have don't correct me immediately because it seems too rude. I prefer a teacher can correct my accent. So, I know how to improve it. I also like 先生 prepared her own teaching materials. She can also explain it in English which is a great helpful for me as my Japanese is not good enough to understand everything in Japanese.

Ms. Lumiko asks for the discussion topic before class. In lesson, she performs speaking practice with grammar that are in our levels and explains difficult words in detail. She also praises and encourage us with detail feedback and corrects our pronunciation. After class, she explains the lesson content and any method for improvement clearly.
