I had this lesson last minute. Glad that the teacher confirmed my request. It was great as always. The teacher always tries her best to encourage me to speak more and adjust the learning materials for me. I can see how much effort she put in terms of lesson planning. It's been a long time since I studied Korean with the teacher Yoom last time. It was a fun lesson as always. Studying with the teacher makes me feel confident in speaking Korean. I found myself try to answer the questions in Korean even though I was struggling with the words I am not familiar. The review document was organised as per usual. I will spend time to review and get improved. :)

Yoom is an amazing language teacher. She can provide a lot of learning activities even just use the vocabulary. I learn more than I think even though I know the vocabulary she provides through the lesson. The lesson is well organised and the learning activities are interesting. Thanks again for the lesson. :)

It's been a while since I studied Korean with the teacher last time. Glad that I can keep on studying with her. Even though we just focused on the vocabulary for " 집안일" but I know how much effort the teacher put in this lesson. I learned not only from the materials she prepared but also some new words related to this topic. Thanks for the great lesson as always.

It was another great writing lesson with Yoom 선생님! I like the topics that Yoom 선생님 chose for these lessons. Each lesson gives me an opportunity to practice using different vocabulary while practicing writing an introduction and a conclusion, using different linking words, etc. These classes have helped me so much to prepare for TOPIK! Highly recommend :)

I received detailed corrections and feedback from Yoom 선생님. She shared more expressions that could elevate my writing like -ㄹ 우려가 있다 and -ㄹ 가능성이 있다. Yoom 선생님 also pointed out parts where I could use a 연결 표현 to make my writing more cohesive. Moreover, she provided more elevated alternatives to what I had written to score higher points during the exam. She also drew a big heart on my paper, which is so cute ♡ As TOPIK is only a month away, I'll be sure to take more TOPIK classes with Yoom 선생님 :)

We share similar tastes in Webtoons so it was fun talking to Yoom 선생님 about what we've been enjoying recently! Yoom 선생님 taught me some words I had seen often in Webtoons but couldn't find in the dictionary because the meaning wasn't literal (like 고구마 characters). Also, I shared with Yoom 선생님 that studying vocabulary for TOPIK has made it easier to read Webtoons. It's an incredible side-effect of studying ^^ I'm going to read the Webtoons Yoom 선생님 recommended and book another class next time to talk about them!

It was another great TOPIK lesson with Yoom 선생님. She's very kind and detailed with her explanations. Instead of just offering corrections, she also makes sure to point out the parts I did well, which is super encouraging :) This time, I repeated a certain grammar pattern 3 times in a single paragraph, so Yoom 선생님 provided other alternatives I could've used. It was very helpful!

I didn't feel good about my writing this time but Yoom 선생님 was very encouraging throughout the whole class and continued to remind me of what I did well, so I felt better after hearing her kind words ^^ As always, I learned a lot today, especially on making the sentences flow better. I jumped from topic to topic in an abrupt manner which made my writing choppy, but Yoom 선생님 suggested a way to fix that and improve my writing. Moreover, she taught me word pairs like 주된 요인 that could give me some more points during the actual exam. I've already booked the next class and I'm looking forward to it :)

The lesson focused not only reading comprehension but also speaking practice which I enjoyed. The teacher guided me through the grammar points and had a lot of practices. The feedback document after the lesson is easy for me to review. Thank you for the great lesson. ^ ^

I had a few questions about question 54 and Yoom 선생님 answered them clearly. Also, I was happy to hear Yoom 선생님 compliment my writing ^^ Yoom 선생님 explained how to make the writing process easier, including how to write an effective introduction and conclusion. She also corrected my writing thoroughly and gave a clear explanation for each correction. Moreover, Yoom 선생님 provided 모범 답안 along with her corrections, so I got to learn new vocabulary and how to connect sentences so the paragraph flows nicely. I'll certainly request this lesson again as well as the non-Skype lesson :)

Wow the 첨삭 was incredibly thorough, I'm mindblown! And very grateful! I appreciate that Yoom 선생님 provides the reasoning behind her corrections. For example, "If you use X grammar the meaning changes, so using Y grammar is more suitable." She also suggests 연결 표현 I can use to make my writing flow better. Moreover, she doesn't just point out areas of improvement but also the good parts! I will thoroughly review (especially the usage of 은/는 and 이/가) and request another lesson! :)

The lesson with the teacher is always fun and productive. I get lots of practice every time even though the grammar points I've studied before. I find myself understand more and more about Korean in terms of vocabulary, phrase and grammar. The after lesson review document is well organised which I truly appreciate. :)
