Thanks for another great lesson. I always have fun in our lessons and love the conversations we have together. Forgot a few words, but Maki-sensei weaves them back into the conversation smoothly and helps with correcting grammar mistakes. Can't wait for our next lesson.

Thanks a for super fun lesson! We got to explore and try out the new functions on skype, which resulted in loads of laugh. Lots of fun talking about some Japanese culture and the difference between shrines and temples. Can't wait for our next lesson next week! Thanks again for a great lesson.

Thanks for another great lesson. It's always fun with Maki-sensei and never a dull moment. I really like how Maki-sensei is able to rephrase things in Japanese so that I can understand it and gives an example on how to use a phrase/grammar point. Thanks again and can't wait until our next lesson!

Thanks for tonight's lesson, Maki sensei! It's been a few weeks since my last lesson - wanted to go on talking forever to catch-up on what has been going on. Thanks for sitting patiently through my broken Japanese; seems the three weeks without any lessons has definitely impacted my vocabulary and grammar (more so than usual!). Thank you for another fun lesson and for patiently sitting through my choppy Japanese. We had a fun conversation, as usual, but Maki-sensei did note that my Japanese has been regressing and so we worked out a new study plan. Hopefully, I will stick to this one! ;) Thank you for today and looking forward to another great lesson next week!

Thank you for a great lesson! After a few weeks of no lessons, I was a bit worried how it would go, but Maki-sensei was very gentle with getting me to using/speaking in Japanese only. We kept the conversation late and Maki-sensei was still great about introducing new vocabulary into the conversation. Looking forward to our next lesson!

I recommend Makisan for her Japanese lessons! She gives me opportunities to speak Japanese and explains the nuances I couldn't understand if I had studied alone. Studying for the JLPT is hard, but she makes it fun and easy to understand. Thank you, Maki-sensei!
