Kaori Sensei is a wonderfully enthusiastic and experienced teacher for my 5 year old child. Her 20 min lessons are thoughtfully put together, fun and nicely paced to compliment the attention span of my kindergartner. Additionally, her follow up notes after class have been are incredibly helpful for reviewing things together during the week. Kaori Sensei has been an excellent addition to our efforts in strengthening our children's language skills and connection to our Japanese heritage and I'm thrilled to have found her.

My son has been having weekly lessons with Kaori-sensei for several months and he always has such a fun time learning Japanese. She was able to assess his level and make interesting lesson plans. She always radiates lively energy and seems to really understand how to engage children. My son looks forward to seeing her every week!

レッスンをありがとうございました! Fantastic lesson! Kaori-sensei gave really in-depth grammar explanations, and prepared wonderfully detailed slides for the lesson. I'd highly recommend her classes!

Kaori 先生is very patient and professional.
She will create her own teaching materials - topics according your interests and tailoring to your levels and needs.
I really appreciate that she will also reply to my follow-up questions after lesson with very detailed explanation, and with many examples.
Moreover, her English is very good and is able to articulate complex Japanese concepts/grammars in simple terms in English.
I started as a self-study beginner but now I feel really more confident with my Japanese and is able to make proper sentences.
I am really grateful for taking her lessons, and I will also continue to take another package lesson with her :)

I can honestly say Kaori-sensei gave me the best lesson I have had on this entire website. They way she taught was so clear and made sense. I'm not a beginner so it was nice that she could challenge me. The material she made for me was customized, in-depth, and she provided TONS of feedback afterward. You can really tell when someone values their students. I guarantee that if you take a lesson with this tutor, you will have your expectations surpassed.

Kaori was very patient with me. She kept very good pacing during our conversation. She would go very slowly if she knew I didn't understand. And she would gradually go faster when I caught up. And slower again if I stuck somewhere. Very good follow up message too with all the keywords in both Kanji and Hiragana we were talking.
