Emiko is great for free talk. I like how she doesn't break up the conversation with heavy grammar explanations. She just makes a quick correction and makes a note in the chat box. It's so easy to talk to Emiko-sensei because she seems genuinely interested.

I fully recommend this lesson to anyone who wants to learn how to write hiragana and katana. You can see clearly how the teacher writes each character stroke by stroke. I had a great time with Emiko and she gave me helpful tips on how to improve.

Emiko Sensei is always able to help me with my requests which are often outside the scope of a normal conversation lesson (e.g. helping me decipher what someone is saying in Japanese in a video, writing an email in Japanese, etc.).

I took a short lesson with Emiko-sensei. It was great. The lesson is very straightforward - she gave me a choice of what kind of writing to practice, and we jumped right into it! She has a special camera so that I can watch her as she writes, so it's easy to follow along. After I write, I can show her on the webcam and get immediate feedback.
Before I knew it, the lesson time was up. I learned a lot so I want to take her lesson again soon.
