Almost two years have passed from my first lesson with the teacher.
At that time I could hardly speak in German. Owing to her and Direkt Methode, my German surprisingly improved; I can have basic daily conversation.
She is very passionate, patient and great teacher. If you want to be able to speak in German, you have no choice other than her!

仕事を言い訳になかなか復習できない中、常に私のレベルに合わせて丁寧に教えて頂けるので楽しく継続できています。講師の人柄も素的なので、あっと言う間に時間が過ぎます。Despite using my work as an excuse not to practice, Vanessa kindly adjusts the content to my level. She also has a very positive personality that makes time fly very quickly.

I am taking the course in order to practice Goethe A1 prüfung. Even though my German laguage is beginner and English and German are mixed up, teacher kindly teaches me in English and German.
I also practice Goethe A1 speaking part and it is very helpful for me to have good opportunity to speak German in advance of prüfung.

Ms. Vanessa is a great teacher. She is explaining in detail so that I can understand easily. Her direct method is helping me to naturally get familiar with German language. It was my first time talking with teacher Vanessa. I was little nervous at first cause I've never taken 1:1 German class. Despite my concerns, teacher Vanessa was so nice and fun. I enjoyed learning German with her. "Direct method" was also interesting. I could feel this method will be really helpful throughout my German learning journey. I am grateful to meet teacher Vanessa and am excited to learn more from her. :)

Vanessa is a good listner. You feel like you would like to try to speak even though you are not sure about your ability. She lets you make a mistake and you will notice the mistake, but you don't need to worry about correctting it right away because she will give you a detailed feedback, which you can learn a lot after the lesson!

In this method, student basically answers questions with yes/no. But last time, I asked questions based on what the teacher said (for example, Ich habe gestern nichts Besonderes gemacht -> Was hast du gestern gemacht?). This was really good because asking questions often happens in real conversations.
I studied “als dass” in this lesson. It was so hard; I could not answer the last question. The teacher, however, gave me the answer and explained me the grammar patiently. The Feedback will definitely work with this situation since I can check the grammar and practice myself.

I learned how to use erst. The word has many meanings and the Direct method works effectively to train use of the word. Although I need more training to get use to erst, I can work myself with the Feedback that the teacher provided me.

Because of my internet connection, we had a problem at the beginning of the lesson. But she waited patiently until the problem was solved.
Things I learn in the lesson are useful; new things are, of course, difficult but she teaches step by step. Very nice lesson as always.

In this lesson, you can practice basic conversation focused on a couple of grammatical themes, and you can also learn new vocabulary in the sentences. Vanessa is patient, very professional teacher with lovely personality.

I enjoy lessons with Vanessa every time. She points out our mistakes / failures one by one and correct them, and is patient enough to wait until student manages to speak with complete sentence. I recommend this course to those who have just started to learn German speaking seriously.

I learnt imperative in the lesson. German imperative is difficult for me but the teacher trained me a lot. The feedback provides me useful information regarding imperative; it is very useful as always.

I learnt Futur II in the lesson. She clearly explained me the difference between Futur I and Futur II. Moreover, not only she gave me new grammar but also she provided the review what I learnt. Great lesson.

Her lesson expands my German expression effectively. I learnt Partizip I and Partizip II in the lesson. Partizip I was what I wanted to learn; I was so glad. -

The teacher always provides me new grammar and vocabularies; they are very helpful. In this class, I learnt about "lassen". I find the word (and expressions with the word) will expand my German expressions.
