I took 60 lessons with Haruhi Sensei! It was one of the best investments I made on myself. Haruhi Sensei was always prepared with very planned lessons just for me. His style of teaching allowed me to get my Japanese conversation ability up to a higher level and he helped my Japanese reading ability. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get better at Japanese. He is a true professional teacher who will adapt to your needs. I:ve had many Japanese teachers in my life but Haruhi sensei was by far the best sensei I have ever had. He is also very skilled at explaining Japanese grammar in Japanese in such an easy to understand way.

I'm really glad I found Haruhi-sensei. Every lesson I learn something new and discover something I need to work on for a better Japanese proficiency. His post-lesson feedback is really helpful for revision. He's always prompt in answering further questions even after the lesson. Personality wise, he's a kind, understanding, and open-minded teacher. Highly recommended!

The tutor is very thorough, and doesn't hesitate in going in details to give explanations if needed, which I really appreciated. I also really liked that as feedback, he sent the corrections done to my text, but also a more natural rewritten version. I will surely request lessons with him again!

Haruhi-sensei is very enthusiastic when it comes to teaching. I can ask him anything, ranging from Japanese language to test-taking advice. His lesson is never boring; I am always looking forward to the next lesson.

I used to fret over role-play exercises because I just couldn't articulate what I wanted to say, especially when I had to use Japanese honorific terms（敬語）. After a few lessons with Haruhi-sensei, I started to enjoy those role-play exercises. Words still stuck in my mouth sometimes, but whatever I couldn't say properly during the lesson, I have a chance to re-do it in the form of homework (re-write the sentences in the correct honorific form, practise, then re-do in the next lesson if needed). That really helps to build my confidence in speaking in business context, and I feel that I have improved quite a fair bit. Thank you, Haruhi-sensei!

I like the way Haruhi-sensei conducts his lessons. We use a textbook for my Business Japanese lessons, but as I have studied Business Japanese previously, instead of going through page by page and teaching what I might have already known, he focuses on helping me put those knowledge into practical usage through role-play exercises. I also find the feedback and the homework he gives after each lesson really useful for revision and practice.

I am a multi-linguist (French, English and Spanish at near native level). I love languages and I have been studying Japanese for years. It's been quite a rough experience. I've bought multiple textbooks, apps and have had dozens of lessons with different teachers.
I got very lucky finding Haruhi Sensei because he is one the few teachers that is willing to tell you the truth about your Japanese. Haruhi sensei will constantly tell you when you make mistakes (in a kindly manner). He is persistent and that kind of effort makes a huge difference.
Believe me, I've been studying with Haruhi sensei for about a month (twice a week) and I feel so much more confident about my Japanese. Instead of hearing "Your Japanese is great!", I get to hear very helpful and honest advice from him directly.
All the lessons that I have had with Haruhi sensei revolve around topics that I choose. I have been writing essays and also been doing role playing. This is by far the most constructive and motivating way I have been studying Japanese and it feels great.
One more thing, Haruhi sensei gives great post lesson feedback. I was impressed by the amount of time he invests in the feedback documents. So not only does he write you feedback but he also supports it with examples too. This alleviates the stress of writing everything during a lesson.
Long story short, I have found THE most honest and invested Japanese teacher I have ever met. If only I had met him ten years ago... -

Haruhi teacher is a very nice teacher.
He is very kind and teaching skill is very amazing.
Especially, his comment is very usuful and helpful in studying afterward.
He leads our class very naturally.
We don't need to worry about the topic that we will have in our class.

I had a great lesson with Haruhi-sensei. He prepared three news articles in advance and we discussed them during class. He answered the questions I had about certain words and terms. He also sent me a helpful feedback sheet after the class with the new vocabulary words we discussed and example sentences using those words. Haruhi-sensei was easy to talk to and fun. Thanks for a great class!
