I had a great time during my first lesson. The teacher was able to explain the material throughly and in an easy to understand way. He provided study materials and kept me focused so I could get through more information than if I had studied alone. I look forward to taking more lessons with Mr. Takaoka.

This lesson is an excellent way to discover more about Japanese temples since the teacher is a Buddist priest. Highly recommended for those interested in temples.

We did free talk but the tutor didn't correct my pronunciation neither my grammar. I also didn't get any help with the vocabulary I didn't know, so I didn't have any improvement.

I had a great lesson with Masatomo Sensei! His attitude and experience make students feel comfortable and he also gives you plenty of time to talk. He gives proper answers to question prompts and writes out corrected versions of your answers in the chat, which is super useful for studying and making note cards! Highly recommended!

I was able to answer many jlpt questions before the test. I didn’t have motivation to answer that so many set of questions by myself, but thanks to Masatomo sensei I could do it. I will take his lessons again.

Masatomo Takaoka-sensei has a relaxed and calm air about him, making it very easy to talk to him. He is good at matching his level with the student's. Recommended for all who gain practice conversing in Japanese.

Another great lesson. I am slowly getting used to keigo, but still need a lot of practice. Lessons with Masa sensei gives me a chance to familiarise myself with the concept the keigo and its different nuances. Thank you for your hard work and see you next time!

I like Masatomo sensei's lesson for JLPT. I feel that with his guidance I can use my time wisely in preparation for JLPT. I can practice answering a lot of JLPT questions. He guides me not only during the class but also before and after the lessons. In addition, sensei can explain my mistakes right away. I also like the shukudai (homework) that helps me motivate to study more. I will take more lessons in the future.

In today's lesson, we completed the second chapter of keigo book. Masa sensei helped me understand the different types of keigo and explained different nuances for me. It was a challenging but very enjoyable lesson. Thank you!

It's make quite a while now that I am taking lessons with Mr Masatomo Takaoka. As I wanted to enter in a specific school asking for a composition and interview, I definitely needed some help. I start from quite far ( i mean low level) and if I managed to pass the entry exam, I can only say that it's thanks to him. Don't be mistaken, I did work a lot (no magic trick unfortunately) but I would definitely never have made it without him. He is really good at understanding what we want to say and putting it in nice sentence. Really concerned, really professionnal. Thanks a lot and see you at the next lesson.

Another great lesson. For the last few lessons we have been reading authentic Japanese news and articles written for native speakers, which has been both challenging and interesting. Masa sensei is very kind and easy to talk to and I enjoy every lesson.
