  何やかやと忙しくて約３ヵ月ぶりに受講しました。英語を使うのも久しぶりでしたが、相変わらずSimon講師は話しやすいので緊張することもありませんでした。いつも感心するのは、この講師の説明のうまさです。簡潔でスッと頭に入るように教えてくれます。以前は単語やフレーズの意味を確認していたのですが、今回 文法の質問をしてみたところ、手持ちの文法書より分かりやすく説明してもらえました。退屈に思える英語学習もこれなら続けられそうだと思います。
  
  I took this lesson for the first time in about three months since I had been a bit busy. Because Simon is always easy to talk, I didn’t have to feel worried in spite of not having practiced English for a while. I’m always impressed with his way of explaining things: it’s lucid and precise. I know learning grammar is essential, but I find it rather boring. But with his explanation, I think I can keep on learning it.

  私にとって英語学習は楽しみであると同時に苦痛でもあります。しかも飽きっぽい性格なので続けるためにあらゆる工夫･対策が必要です。その１つが言語感覚、教え方など、いろんな面でセンスの良い講師を選ぶことです。サイモン講師は、こちらの意図を酌んで、そこが知りたかったというところを教えてくれます。お陰でもっと学びたいという意欲が出ます。それから、いかにもイギリス英語という感じではなく、とても分かりやすい品のある英語を話す人なので、抵抗なく耳に入ってきます。聴覚優位なので、こういう要素もすごく重要視しています。
  
  Learning English is fun, but painful to me at the same time because it requires some effort and diligence. Since I get bored so easily, it's essential to take all the measures that I can think of to keep on learning. One of the effective precautions for me is to choose tutors who have great sense of various things including language and teaching. Simon always gives explanation and adds information for exactly what I wanted to know, and it motivates me to learn more. Also, his English is not like "very British", but very clear and easy to understand. Because I'm Auditory, this is also a very important element.

  It's always nice and fun to talk with him. What he explained about the words relating sports were very useful as I didn't know how to express those things in English. He also explained about the sports teams in his country, the UK. which was also very interesting.
  The feedback he sent me was very careful and useful, too. I would like to take his lesson again.

  I'm grateful that Simon always answers my questions thoroughly every time. He is excellent at explaining definitions of words and phrases, and makes them memorable. Since he knows various things, I can ask him about anything. As a tutor, I rely on him a lot.

  レッスンで気に入ってることはたくさんありますが、中でも語彙が強化できるところがいいです。講師の説明の仕方は、親が子供だった私に知らない言葉を教えてくれた方法と似ています。イメージがパッと浮かぶので理解しやすくて覚えやすいです。
  
  One of the many things that I like this lesson is that it helps me build and enrich vocabularies. The way Simon explains words reminds me of how my parents used to teach me new words when I was a kid. Since I can picture their images vividly, it's easy to understand and memorize.
