May sensei made me feel very relaxed so I could talk a lot! I really like that she's a great listener. She was paying close attention to what I said so she caught my grammar and vocabulary mistakes and shared with me how to correct them. Highly recommended for those who want lots of speaking practice.

I really enjoyed meeting May-sensei and chatting and then practicing reading the news. She pushed me beyond my level and explained in Japanese until I understood. I appreciated that she didn't switch to English but would confirm my English guesses or give me one English word if I was very stuck. She was so friendly I wasn't nervous. An excellent first lesson :-)

May-sensei spoke at a relatively fast speed and it was a really good training for listening comprehension. She also knows traveling in Japan really well and could provide excellent guidance for various destinations based on your preferences. It was a great learning experience that I truly enjoyed.

It's really an enjoyment to attend teacher May's lesson! Unlike traditional language lessons, teacher May's lessons are more like talking to a very energetic friend--the conversations just proceed naturally and are full of fun. Additional merits: it is always stress-relief and energy-charging when talking to energetic friends, so does attending teacher May's lessons. :)

She was friendly and able to make it a comfortable learning experience. We spoke a lot. I practiced my Japanese speaking and listening skills. She sent me a link to read a practice question and was able to explain things efficiently.

Hello, I have just completed another lesson and 50 minutes as always seems very fast. I can freely speak japanese, read about a good topic and learn a great deal within the class.
I never feel like I need to use English and that Japanese will be used well to help me understand if I'm not sure.
A great way to speak, read and listen to improve your japanese. -

Today we focused on an article regarding a disease where people are unable to feel, due to something affecting their skin.
Reading, speaking, conversation and questions based on the article where made and we discusses new words, as well as general conversation on
our thoughts on the matter.
As always there is a good structure, flow and quality to the lesson. -

Hello everyone, first I have had a few lessons with May, and I am very happy with the outcome. She listens and allows you to use your language skills to explain as best you can, while teaching the words you might be trying to find.
Not many teachers allow you to have time to find your words and express yourself without interruption but May will listen carefully and help you along. She is very professional and during the reading classes will quiz you on your understanding and talk with you as an equal.
I very much enjoy this lessons. -

It was a nice experience for me choosing May as my first lesson's tutor. She is experienced, patient, knowledgeable, enthusiastic teacher. She is able to correct your mistake even subtle ones. After the class, she even gave a summarized and comment about the lesson we just did. Highly recommended if you want to learn Japanese!
