一些在周遭覺得很普遍的事對於不同文化的人卻是相當地不可思議，很有趣的一堂課。雖然是很輕鬆的話題，May老師會也提及一些在日本發生的社會現象，讓話題可以更加深入。
It's interesting to know things that are common enough in an area may be thought of as unbelievable in another one. Though we had a more relaxing topic today, May-sensei brought some social issues in Japan to the lesson, which is always thought-provoking. -

May老師很有系統的分析演說內容的結構，然後在文脈的接續以及單字選擇上給予很多建議。跟老師一起討論過後把內容重新思考再說一遍很有挑戰性！
May-sensei systematically analyzed the structure of the context and give useful advice about conjunctions and word choices. It was such a challenge to organize the advice into the second-run speech during the lesson! -

說日文的時候會習慣用中文或英文既有的單字來說明，但實際上母語使用者平常不會這麼說。很謝謝May老師總是細心地幫我修正！
I used to speak Japanese with the words that also exist in either Chinese or English, but that was not the common way the native speakers say. Thanks to May-sensei, she help me to fix the choice of words with great patience and thoroughness. -

這堂課學的是問路的過程，老師很仔細的去區分情境，『請問這裡有～～～嗎？』『有喔』『那請問在哪裡呢』『在～～～地方』接下來才是路徑的引導，非常的實用，重複主題的省略也是很重要的，這樣才能把所學融入日常生活中。辛苦老師了

跟May老師聊的話題很廣泛，也因此找到一些自己很驚訝「原來這麼說會有問題」的地方。這大概是從其他學習方式很難找到的。
The lesson with May sensei covers a wide range of topics. Therefore sometimes I realized that "oh, express in this way may cause some trouble in some cases!" And perhaps this is not easy to be encountered by other ways of learning a language.
