レッスン前にアメリカ生活での困りごとの話題になった．1年以上滞在しているので，ハンバーガー屋での注文での失敗やあるあるについて話が盛り上がった．レッスンはセレクトした絵本を読んで，発音をチェックしてもらっている．チャールズ先生は熱心に教えてくれるので，続けてレッスンを受けている．
We had a small talking in the US life; actually this small talk took over 20 minutes. I am staying in the US for more than one year, so we had a great conversation about at a hamburger shop. In this lesson, I checked my pronunciation as reading a ed picture book. Charles teaches me enthusiastically, so I can continues to have lessons.

数回に渡って，チャールズ先生のレッスンを受けています．発音について，似たような言葉を挙げて説明してくれるので非常にわかりやすいです．私の間違えている発音について丁寧に直してくれるのでためになります．前回は5歳の息子の本が教材でした．絵本さえちゃんと読めないんだとショックを受けた話をしたら，それを教材にしてレッスンしてくれました．おさるのジョージですね．．いろいろ工夫をしてくれるので初心者にもおススメする講師です．
Through several times, I have taken Charles's lessons. He gives me a big help for my English, in which he explain using a similar word when I made a mistake of pronunciation. At the previous lesson, we took a material which my 5-years-old son's has. I said I could not read such books, then he built a lesson with that material. Charles is a good lecturer for who want to improve speaking.

His lesson was incredible. He is very professional. Before our class, he researched a lot of information about my interview, then teach me appropriate questions and answers. He explained breaking down how to construct answers, so I could understand how to do. My interview prep was moving forward very much from his help honestly.

At the beginning of my lesson, SMALL TALK became a Bigger due to my concerning. But Charles helps me kindly to improve my pronunciation. We have completed reading Curious George Apple harvest I choose. Once he heard the wrong sound from me, he revised to the correct sound neatly one by one. I noticed that I could not make basic pronunciation at that time. it was an awesome lesson for me! I will take it soon.

このレッスンでは、最近行ったカナダ旅行について話しました。そして、複数の人と英語で話すコツや練習法についてアドバイスをもらいました。チャールス先生はレッスン中に、私の話を注意深く聞くだけでなく、発音、こんな表現もあるよ、などの提案もしてくれるので、とても勉強になります。また、レッスン後のフィードバックで、私の話についてこう思ったなどの新たな感想も書いてくれるので読むのも楽しみです^^
In this lesson, I shared my recent trip to Canada. He gave me some great tips on how to practice for dealing with group conversations. Charles isn't only engaged in our conversation but also gives me good suggestions on pronunciation and related expressions. I'm also pleased his feedback email because he writes about what he thought of my stories as well as vocabulary reviews. -

Charles is a enthusiastic teacher. I had several time for his lesson. He quickly incorporates my suggested materials and helps me learning pronunciations. He will carefully explain the pronunciation prone to make mistake and let me practice them. I will take lesson again.

We focused on reading one chapter that introduction of the practice book, while paying attention to my pronunciation. Charles politely explained each one's pronunciation. By his support, I understood similar words pronounced but different words. I will take his lesson again.

チャールス先生のフリートークレッスンを初めて受けました。
フリートークは、先生やトピックによって当たり外れが大きいので、普段は避けるのですが、あまり自分がガッチリ勉強したい気分じゃなかったので受けてみました笑。
前もって考えていたトピックに話を持って行って話すこともありましたが、だいたいは流れにまかせて話しました。
なにしろ、チャールス先生はとても優しく、こちらの意図をくみ取って話を聞いてくれるので、心地よい会話になります。
また、レッスン後のフィードバックでは、会話の内容を詳しくレビューしてくれるのでよいリーディング練習にもなりました^^
I took this free-talk lesson for the first time with Charles.
I tend to avoid free-talk style lessons because they are hit and miss, depending on tutors and topics. But, I wanted to give it a try with him. ;)
I was worried if we might out of topics, but I ventured to go with the flow and had fun chatting.
He is a good conversationalist and gives me a great review after his lesson. I guarantee that everyone’d enjoy his free-talk lesson as well! -

チャールズ先生はとても話やすく，大変フレンドリーなアメリカ人です．レッスン後のフォローも時間をかけて資料を作成してくれるのでとても助かります．英語発音は，どうしてもカタカナに変換しがちですが，その点を注意深く修正してくれるのでうれしいです．また受講します．
Charles is very easy to talk and very friendly American guy. He is helpful for me following after the lesson and spend time creating materials. Japanese tend to convert English pronunciation into Katakana, but it is good to carefully fix that point, how to make sound and the different sound. I will keep taking his class for improving my pronunciation.

That was a good lesson for pronunciation. I created some sentence using the similar sounds and then Charles answer and instructed these expressions. I had a fun of lesson. I will continue to take his lesson.

That lesson was fun. Charles checked my pronunciation and instructed how to work mouse. Also we sent mutual message as exaggerated expression for pronunciations. I did not have enough time for that lesson, so I will do the next lesson.

初めて受講しました．私が15分ほど遅刻してしまったにもかかわらず，丁寧に17分オーバーでレッスンして頂きました．気軽なSmall Talkからスムーズに入っていって要望にも丁寧に応えて頂きました．チャールズ先生はとにかく話しやすく，発音の練習も辛抱強く丁寧に教えて下さいました．次もまた受けようと思います．
I had the first time for Charles's lesson. Even though I was late for about 15 minutes, he kindly gave me the lesson over 17 minutes.We took part from the frank Small Talk and he taught me a good way to meet my request.Charles can speak freely. He also taught me patiently pronunciation practice. I am going to take next, again. -

I had another great lesson with Charles.
I requested my favorite interview for this lesson.
I wrote a summary of the interview beforehand because there is no transcript for it and I wanted to see how much I understood it as well as I wanted to practice writing.
He listened to the audio before our class and even talked about it with his friend!
In our lesson, he corrected my writing, we talked about the related topic, and we listened together to the parts I didn’t quite understand.
I was so pleased that he extended the time and answered all my questions until everything was clear to me.
I’m a big fan of his teaching style and personalities. I highly recommend that everyone tries his lesson out!!
今回のレッスンでは、私のお気に入りのインタビューをリクエストしました。
トランスクリプトがなかったので、どれぐらい理解したかを知りたかったのと、ライティングの練習も兼ねてインタビューの要約を書いて、レッスンでチェックしてもらいました。
長いインタビューだったのに、チャールス先生はレッスン前にちゃんと聞いてくれていて、ご友人とそのインタビューについて話しもしたそうです！
レッスンでは他に、インタビューに関連したトピックを話したり、聞き取れなかったところを一緒に聞いて解明してもらいました。
私の不明点がなくなるまで、時間も延長して、質問に答えてくれてとても感謝しています。
チャールス先生は、本当に熱心で、お人柄も素晴らしく、是非一度は受けてもらいたい先生です！！

Charles先生のピクチャーディスクリプションは写真が楽しく面白くていつも楽しみにしています。リスニングのクラスも取りたいと思っていますが、写真が面白くて、やはりこちらのクラスを選んでしまいますね(笑)先生曰く、何百と面白い写真がある、とのことなので飽きることなく続けられそうです。もちろん新しい語彙、言い回しも教えていただけます。そしていつも本当に詳しいフィードバックを送って下さり、「これ簡易的なフィードバック？かなり詳細だよね。。。」と思っています。ありがとうございます！Charles, I like your pictures, very much and am so excited and look forward to seeing them.
