Even if it was only a trial lesson, it was so much fun talking to Aya-sensei. She is very enthusiastic, and we talked a lot about anime. I would love to have more lessons with her again in the future.

Wonderful class. This was my very first Japanese class. For the past 3 months I've been self-teaching myself with various textbooks and workbooks but I was not having any success retaining all the important details the Japanese language offers. Taking a class on Cafetalk with Aya san is the best decision I have made to improve.

I spent a really grate time with Aya-san. She was really easy to talk to and I recommend her to students who can be shy because there won't be any awkward silence with her! The lesson was at 20pm JPT, yet she was so fresh and motivated, it made me want to do my best too! About the lessons' content, we worked on texts and read them out loud. She corrected me on the mistaken kanji, and her explanations to understand the words were very easy. She also gave me advices on how should I read a text, to clearly understand the author's goal. I would recommend her to beginners, or people who are looking to learn japanese to understand anime/songs, daily conversations and so on.
Thank you for your time! :) -

I had written six pages of Japanese for a presentation, and Aya-sensei very patiently went through the whole thing and corrected it for me. She explained her corrections as well, and my presentation went off without a hitch! She's really the best!!!!

Aya先生 is very easy to talk to, and I always end my lessons with her in a good mood. Shes very encouraging. She also writes a comprehensive feedback in Japanese after the lesson, which is a perfect summary for what you did, and great reading practice since she caters to your level.

Mumusuke is a very kind lady. She provided me with a textbook that is highly recommended by many resources, however, she didn't seem to know what subjects we should work on. We tended to bounce around different topics with no real aim or explanation as to why. First we started with hiragana (which would make sense for someone who was at the very first stages of learning Japanese, but I had told her in the introduction paragraph before she accepted that I had already memorized hiragana, so I don't understand why we were going over it) Then we moved on to the most basic of introductions, and several other very basic easy things that I already had a grasp on, but she wasn't aware that I already knew. Then we moved onto grammar (a little over halfway through), which I had asked to move onto and what I had originally thought the whole lesson would be about, but I couldn't understand it. I could tell she was trying to explain, but it just wasn't clicking for me. Overall, I think this lesson is for people with only the most basic of needs, as in just barely starting. If you want something somewhat challenging though (but not confusingly jumpy), I might opt for a different lesson of hers.

ムムスケ先生はいいです。Mumusuke-sensei is very knowledgeable about the JLPT and has many resources to use and share with students. She did not mind that I am at grade-school level in Japanese, and helped me understand where I need to do more studying (grammar, kanji, etc.) I also had fun towards the end of our lesson when we talked about anime in Japanese. 楽しいですね。We both agreed that speaking in real time will really help improve my Japanese. After this lesson, I am more motivated to practice my writing skills in Japanese, and continue studying kanji. どうもありがとうございます。
