Thank you again! I loved these exercises. I am so much more relaxed when I run through them, even when I make mistakes. I do try to do them during the week as well. I am happy to have you as a tutor and maybe one day, I won't freak out when singing in public. :)

Hi Kristen! I was unable to leave feedback for the last class because I took too long! So sorry. This class was amazing! I know I am really fighting with my anxiety and I did not do a great job the last time. This time, I tried some other relaxing breathing exercises and tried to turn off the critic in my head. Plus, you had an amazing visual resource that helped me this time. Those exercises were perfect. I could hear what I should be singing and try to match it and it was the same note every time. The change of song was the best part. I feel way more comfortable with No Importa la Distancia! You are a great teacher and I am glad I found you.

Currently, I am working hard on a song.
I have become able to sing it from the beginning to end.

Since I started to learn to sing,
I tend to sing songs when I realize.
I do vocal training while watching my teacher's model video.
A set piece of song is dramatic and moving.
I have seen the stage.
This is a new challenge.

I was looking for a tutor that really can work on the technical aspects of singing. Often, people tell you to sing, and then move their hands hoping you will find the note. Kristin does a great job of focusing on the technical and application parts of singing. She also is very calming, so I was not nervous at all. I think I will learn a lot working with her. It was a fun and meaningful trial Kristin. Cain't wait for our next lesson. I am willing to do homework to prepare.
