I had only studied American English pronunciation so far, so I had never practiced British English. However, when I heard her in her self-introduction video, I was impressed by the beauty of her English. I wanted to speak with a beautiful British accent like hers, therefore, I decided to start practicing it.
Naturally, there are many differences between the American and British accents and, I'm constantly puzzled by them.
Therefore, I am now concentrating on mimicking her pronunciation.
This has helped me understand British English speakers who speak very fast, whom I had difficulty understanding.
I am always impressed by her knowledge of English. In addition, she is very polite in her communication. Moreover, the materials she provides are also very helpful.
She speaks very high quality English. Every single word she says is a good example for me to follow. In short, as a teacher, she is a genius at English. I reckon that she is a splendid teacher who has overturned the stereotype that it is better to learn English from an American or an English person. From my point of view, she definitely provides a higher level of teaching than many native English teachers who were born and raised in the US or UK.
My British English pronunciation is not good so far, however, I have a feeling that I will be able to get much better if I continue to take her lessons.

Today we talked about the national university exam held in South Korea during the COVID 19 pandemic. When I talk, I often make tense and personal pronouns. I gradually become notice when I wrongly talk, but still, make a lot of mistakes. She listens to what I talk about carefully and points out my mistakes!

Today I took this type of lesson for the first time. She was so enthusiastic to make my sentence better and told me the reason why those expressions were not good and how I should change them. However, in the last part, it took a lot of time to convey my intention appropriately because of my poor speaking skill :/

During our lesson, she always points out the reason why the words I chose were not appropriate for conveying my intention. That would be very helpful for me because when I understand why I cannot use that word and which ones are more proper, I easily remember it.

We discussed a news article that I shared with her before our lesson starts. During our lesson, she raised various words that have similar but different meanings. Also, she also pointed out my R and L sound mistakes. I often forget to sound "s" when I talk about third parties. The conversation with her was so informative and interesting. Time flies so fast! Today we discussed the article I shared with the teacher. I found it is a good style for our lesson because when I read it by myself, I did only notice the restricted point of view. I was really pleased to talk with you yesterday night. Thank you for understanding on my circumstances. We practiced L and R sounds, discussed ethical history and differences, and our health check system. It was the first time for me to talk about ethics in English, so it made me more interesting ever.

During our lesson, she pointed out sometimes what I was talking about is grammatically correct but logically incorrect. I also realized there is a moment when I am talking the contents without meaning for listeners. I thought that it would be good for me to record my talking during the lesson.
