Thank you for the copy of "la casa de espiritus". As we revised the sentences I made with new words, I think I should practice writing more so I can learn something that I never noticed when I'm reading.

I have been taking Spanish lessons with Arturo in the past 5 months, and I am enjoying a lot. Even though my vocabulary is limited and I am very slow to construct sentences, he is always very patient and smiling, supporting me. He also writes notes on Skype chat box or the electronic whiteboard we use in class, so it is very easy to review my lesson. He is a great teacher!

Today we talked about literature.
Actually, "no oye ladrar los perros" was written by Juan Rulfo,not Juis Borges,I got it wrong today@@.
The works of Juis Borges that I have read are "La Intrusa","Deutsches Requiem" and "Borges y yo".
All of them are difficult for me to understand, there are too much vocabulary!
However, the stories are very interesting , so I'll keep working on it to learn more words.

Recently Mr.Arturo is so busy, however he always sends a feedback everytime I take a lesson. I respect his diligence. Adding to that nothing dampens his enthusiasm for teaching. I am not a smart student, but he never gives up. I am always impressed by his attitude toward me and he always makes every effort to teach gently and kindly with smile on his face. In this class I learned some cultural differences between Mexico and Taiwan by doing oral exercise,and it was very interesting.
Although I still couldn't find the right words while speaking, I do feel I reacted quicker then before and braver to talk in Spanish.

It was very noisy here that day and it was totally my fault that I don't have any microphones. It was very nice of the teacher stopped the lesson and gave me a coupon to continue the lesson the other day. I really appreciate that. m(_ _;)m

Arturo is a very patient and interesting teacher that always listen to his student sincerely.
His learning materials included all kinds of practices from reading comprehension to speaking.

Yesterday teacher and I did some talking, and it was very interesting that the American accent he spoke to get me familiar with different types of accents sounded really American. I felt like talking to an American and it was a lot of fun!

I have been taking Arturo's Spanish lessons for a couple of months and have almost finished the first unit. He prepares some evaluation so you can review what you have learnt so far, which has been very helpful for me. He is also very happy to correct sentences I wrote at home. I strongly recommend his lessons!

I usually take a 30 minute lesson and I thought 60 minutes one-on-one might feel too long, but Arturo is always so well prepared, the time just flies by. He also provides great information about proper Spanish vs. how people really speak, and the differences between Spanish spoken in Spain and Latin America.

Today we read an article about treintones and did some reading and expressing opinion about it. I think I know more about my weakness and I can talk in Spanish more calmly although I still feel difficult to talk with correct grammar. We're going to do a debate to strengthen my expression and I'm looking forward for it.
