Today I practiced how to make the backbone of our statement. I'm prone to make details from scratch, so I have to face the shortage of time of inconsistency of my statements. Thanks to her lesson, I am gradually becoming to know about how to create my opinions!

She really thinks about how to improve my English skills and organized her lessons splendidly. Today we practice the structure of essay for the TOEFL test. It was very fundamental but I also realized that my lack of the basal skill downgraded my total scores on that test. Thank you so much for today's lesson!

Today we talked about the Black Lives Matter movement. There are so many perspectives on this topic that it was difficult for me to have a concrete opinion. However, thanks to her help, I think my thought was elaborated :)

Today, she prepared an alternative answer about a topic I shared for my essay. I realized the topic is so controversial and what I expressed in my essay was too superficial. We'll discuss this topic tomorrow, so I'll try to elaborate on my own opinion before the next lesson.

This time we talked about the topic of the stock market. The topic was irrelevant to all of my life, so it was difficult to understand the detail of it in the beginning. However, I noticed how to compose my sentence was the same as usual. I've got confused often this time, so I thought I should have listened more carefully. Thank you so much :)

Today she checked my essay about a conviction of a Thai woman. The topic was not familiar to me so it took a long time to complete it but I noticed that I gradually became to use many new terms and expressions. In addition, thanks to her corrections, I also noticed my knowledge of expressions is inconsistent. I often missed postpositional particles such as "elaborate ON," "differentiate BETWEEN," "y is a synonym OF x" and so on. I'll remember them and make sure to use them correctly. Thank you for your lesson :)

During this lesson, we developed our discussion from the previous topic about commercial surrogacy. I thought I have to make sure to complete what I was saying while speaking in English because I often murmured at the last moment :)

She always logically explains the reason why she corrected my sentence so. Her advice is so convincing and understandable. She also gave me a helpful suggestion that the length of my essay should be changed depending on my familiarity with the topic. I thought this recommendation was so logical to train myself. I really appreciate her motivating lessons :)

Today, before I took the TOEFL lesson. I noticed my English skills improved while taking the test. I think that improvement is owing to her passionate teaching! she always prepares for our lesson beforehand and provides new bits of information :) I gradually get to know a lot of commercial terms and concepts through our lessons.

Today, I retried the essay that I tried during the previous lesson. I noticed the improvement of the logical flow and grammatical composition, but as Ms. Ashhari pointed out, my statement tends to be too general. I'll take care of going straight to the core concept.

Gradually I get to notice my grammatical and logical mistakes while I'm talking in English. I often remember what she taught me when studying English :) Still, I often make mistakes in terms of tense (past, future, etc.). I should take more care of it.

In addition to the discussion about an article I shared, she gave me a general recommendation about my speaking. I should take care of what I talk to be shorter and simpler, and less noun. I'll try to find some appropriate channels or movies to study conversational English.

During the writing lesson with her, I feel that not only the grammatical skills but also making the logical flow of the sentence are elaborated. She always takes care of the logical perspective, and it was so good for me. I will rewrite today's assignment again!

Today we talked about holiday traditions around the world. There were a lot of intriguing traditions and their related histories! Her story about "meme" was also interesting for me and finally, I got understood why pictures were popped up on my SNS pages these days.
