I love working with Sunny. Sunny not only teaches students with good materials but also keep encouraging the students to do their best in practicing the language. One of the challenges online lesson often has is the limitation in interaction with teachers and the level of commitment students have. By Sunny enthusiastic teaching and encouragement, I could continue the lesson while I am busy with work and keep working on language even though the progress is relatively slow. Sunny also provides the context when it comes to specific words or expresssion. I learn d a lot about Chinese cultures through lessons. I am really happy with the lesson with Sunny and I highly recommend this lesson to those who really want to learn Chinese seriously. Thank Sunny for all learnings so far and I look forward to working with you for more and more.

I'm also grateful for the prompt response to audio recordings of lessons and feedback.
Today we talked about bad habits. Everyone has bad habits, and many of us don't realize we have them, so if someone close to us, such as a family member, could point them out to us, we would be able to change them, but if we don't get that opportunity, we will continue to make those around us feel bad, which is a sad story in a way.
I'm not aware of my own habits, but if one were to be pointed out to me, I would like to make an effort to change them as soon as possible. -

Brilliant lesson today with Taku Sensei. We dived deep into Japanese and talked non stop for an hour covering some of the most commonly used grammar. Taku Sensei had prepared a slide for our lesson, is a master at calming my "Japanese speaking panic brain' , his calm soothing voice brought out the best in me. I would very much recommend him to anyone who wants a serious Japanese teacher. He is fun and when you are having fun it doesn't seem like a lesson.

Teacher Phillip always teaches with a smile on his face and speaks in a calm tone, and his happy demeanor makes me feel happy too.
In this class, we learned about English sentence structure.
He taught me that even if we understand English grammar, words, and phrases, if we don't know how to structure a sentence, we won't be able to convey what we want to say to the readers. This made me realise once again that it's important to be creative in how we communicate with the readers.
This is the same for Japanese texts, so I would like to keep his advice in mind when I write sentences on a regular basis. -

The teacher has been helping me with the basics in the Chinese language for a few months now and it has been really helpful. Pronunciation in the language is crucial and can be tricky at times, but the teacher is really patient. She also encourages me!
