Thank you for the enjoyable lesson! For this lesson, Charles sent me three different length articles in advance. I picked up an article about Chinese officials confrontation amid covid-19 pandemic. Our conversation wasn’t only about around virus, but also about how people view France. During the lesson, he sent me the other related articles too. It help me better understand. I’m grad that.

I highly recommend this "Write Now!" This is a non Skype lesson pack, but a degrees of his politeness is completely equal to his Skype lessons. I learned a lot not only from his corrections but also from his confirmation message and other replies to my messages.
時間が合わずチャールズ先生のスカイプレッスンが受けられないため、このライティングのレッスン２回目です。先生のご厚意で写真や絵を見て思いつくまま書くことにしました。けさ１回目の添削ファイルが送られてきましたが、赤で直してくださって一目で自分の間違いや不自然な言い回しがわかります。また他の表現の提案もありました。ちょうどフランスが外出を制限すると発表した直後に予約を入れましたが、先生とのメッセージのやり取りをする中でテレビで見たまるで戦争映画のワンシーンのような静まり返ったパリの様子が現実なのだとわかりました。スカイプはなしですが、丁寧に添削してくださいますし、会話では勢いで何とかなったり先生が流れを止めないように見逃してくださる間違いも書くとごまかしようがないので大変勉強になります。会話よりじっくり取り組めるこのレッスンをまた受けたいと思います。お題は何でもいいそうなのでぜひ１度受けてみてください。

We had a lot of topics in the last lesson. I tried a writing of Vernal Equinox Day. Charles checked it gently and pointed out each error to be more clearly expressions. I’m looking forward to take his lesson next Saturday.

We talked about this pandemic situation at the begging of the lesson. We have commonly a shortage of toilet papers at any place. We found when those people watched a shortage of products at shopping, they take more buying action than necessary. Toilet papers are common goods globally, that's interesting:) And then, we moved to watch the video regarding a geek of watermelon. We taught from each mother that seeds should not be eaten, otherwise sprout will grow from the belly. that's also interesting as common sense in the world.

I booked this non Skype lesson for the first time. As usual, he sent me a hearty message right after I requested the lesson.
He's so flexible and tolerant about how to turn in my writing. He kindly worked through my writing as 4 parts and sent them back to me successively. His corrections and suggestions are absolutely helpful and informative. I was truly impressed by the corrected sentences which are all refined. Charles is an intelligent and supportive tutor. More importantly, he is so caring and his messages are always filled with consideration. I feel as if I have an e-mail friend in France whenever I receive a message from him. I highly recommend not only this lesson but also other lessons!
初めて先生のライティングのレッスンを受けました。スカイプレッスンの会話だとその場で英語を口にしなければならないため、どうしてもシンプルな単語の羅列になってしまったり言いよどんだりしてしまいます。ライティングの勉強を正式にしたことがないので予約を入れようか迷いましたが、書きたいことがあったので思い切ってお願いしました。長さや頻度について提案されていますが、私の希望を快く受け入れて頂きすでに書き終えた１つの文章を4回に分けて添削してくださいました。細かいミスだけでなく、同義語や言い換えについても提案して頂きました。
添削後の洗練された英文とオリジナルの文章にはかなり差があるのですが、会話と違って時間をかけて調べたり書き直したりができるライティングのレッスンはいい勉強になりました。講師としてはもちろん素晴らしい方ですが、常に生徒の気持ちに寄り添ってくださる思いやりにあふれたチャールズ先生のレッスンはおすすめです！

Thank you for the enjoyable lesson! In this lesson, I picked up the article about Beijing restrict rules against corona virus among three articles that Charles sent me in advance. It is very hot topic right now, so we had a lot of things to talk about inside and outside of the article. It was also helpful that Charles showed me the latest news along with new idioms.

Charles sensei always chose interesting and something new videos for me. During the lesson, he let me speak as much as I can and then taught me more natural expressions and sentences for that. I really enjoyed speaking English with him because he doesn't only teach English but he also gave me new thoughts and discoveries. Thanks to his lesson, I could learn many things about the world. I highly recommend his lessons if you want to learn not only English but also cultures and thoughts.

I take this lesson about once a month. I’m glad that Charles is always cheerful and encourage me. This time I picked up an article about a relation between age and memory ability among three articles that Charles suggested me in advance.
