This was my first time speaking in Japanese but she made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She is a very enthusiastic and gentle teacher and I loved that she was able to explain subtle differences in vocabulary usage that I had never understood before. The long class made me feel that we had enough time to chat without having to rush. I highly recommend Makisan and will definitely book more classes with her when I get the chance.

Great and fun lesson. It's been over a year since I had a lesson with Maki-sensei and I'm glad I made time to come back for lessons. We picked right back up from where we left off a year ago and the lesson flew by! I'm looking forward to my next lesson with Maki-sensei!
