He's a real fountain of knowledge, always teaching me something new. Having lived in Japan for so long, he can explain Japanese language, culture, and history in English in great detail. It's always interesting to hear his take on how foreigners view Japan.
I'm looking forward to watching the two movies he recommended before our next lesson so I can talk about them with him in English. His lessons are really helpful and he always makes sure they're at the right level for me.

Carlos is an excellent teacher who always goes above and beyond. He is very easy to talk to and always corrects my pronunciation promptly. He is very patient and never minds having to repeat things when I don't "get it" (the first or even second time). He uses a variety of different materials and tailors classes to your level. Taku Sensei introduced new grammar points and we enjoyed talking about them in detail. I was able to remember the previous lessons grammar points and bring them to the lesson. Taku Sensei is extremely professional and his lessons are prepared in advance. I will be doing the homework he suggested and really look forward to his lessons next week. I love working with Sunny. Sunny not only teaches students with good materials but also keep encouraging the students to do their best in practicing the language. One of the challenges online lesson often has is the limitation in interaction with teachers and the level of commitment students have. By Sunny enthusiastic teaching and encouragement, I could continue the lesson while I am busy with work and keep working on language even though the progress is relatively slow. Sunny also provides the context when it comes to specific words or expresssion. I learn d a lot about Chinese cultures through lessons. I am really happy with the lesson with Sunny and I highly recommend this lesson to those who really want to learn Chinese seriously. Thank Sunny for all learnings so far and I look forward to working with you for more and more.

This was a wonderful book club lesson, perfect for the upcoming Christmas season. We read A Kidnapped Santa Claus, which was truly fascinating. While some of the vocabulary was new to me, I could practice it before reading the story. Thank you, Ray, for organizing such a delightful reading experience. I highly recommend this lesson to anyone who wants to enjoy reading or rediscover the joy of reading.
