We much so much fun talking to each other and the time just flew by!
She was really easy to talk to, and more than anything, she is very encouraging and helpful!
Learning Japanese herself, she understands the struggles and ups and downs that come with learning languages which talking to her makes even easier.
We had a bit of a funny incident where one of her pets got away, (she managed to find it, thank goodness) but it made her much more lovable and endearing :D -

We use a textbook for this lesson but you don't have to buy anything. Deanna sends the pages we use before the lesson. The dialogue is fun to read and very casual conversation. So you can get those natural expressions from this lesson, I think. Deanna explains those expressions with several examples. Her explanations are very easy to understand. And this lesson is not just for the explanations of new expressions, but we can talk about many things around the expressions which is very fun and helpful.

English Conversation のレッスンを受けました。初めてで緊張していましたが、Deannaさんが笑顔で話しかけてくれたので、リラックスして楽しく話せました。フィードバックで、あたたかいメッセージや、知らなかった単語についての説明と例文、それから、上手く言えなかったことを拾い出して、正しい英文に直してくれました。今後の学習に役立つとても有意義なレッスンでした。

She understnads Japanese very well, so when I was stuck with expressing something in English and said a Japansese word, she immediately understood my Japanese and translated into English, whcih was very useful.

It was very fun to talk with Deanna. What's more, what she wrote in the Skype chat box is very helpful and what she wrote in the review is also very helpful. In the Skype chat box, she wrote the full sentences that were difficult for me to understand. And in the review, she wrote several example sentences that contain those new expressions for me; which are really helpful. I think this is more than just a "free talk" lesson.
