Compared to studying kanji on my own, taking this kanji lesson with Kyoko really helps me remember the characters effectively. We both read and write short phrases using kanji, and she checks my understanding. Although I don't know a lot of vocabulary, she is able to explain things in English. She also draws cute pictures to help explain the kanji, and make it easier to remember their meanings. Taking this lesson regularly has really helped my reading skills.
혼자서 칸지를 공부하는 것보다, 쿄고선생님과 같이 공부하는 것은 정말 더움이 되었어요. 간단한 표현들을 같이 읽고 쓰고, 이해력도 확인해요. 쿄코선생님은 칸지 의미랑 쓰는 방법을 쉽게 배울 수 있게 귀여운 그림도 그려주셔요. 이 레슨을 덕분에 제 읽기 능력이 계속 늘고 있어요. -

This kanji lesson was really helpful. Although to learn kanji you have to practice writing a lot on your own, it was useful to have Kyoko's explanations and writing tips. She can explain in Japanese and English. We learned some new kanji as well as words that use them, and also did some reading practice using combinations of simple kanji. There was a lot of good material, and I think it will be useful to take this lesson regularly. Thanks, Kyoko ^^

Kyoko was prompt and encouraging. We went over basic greetings and then after doing well on that, we moved on to other topics. After the lesson, she sent me the things I should review from our lesson including the days of the week, counting, etc. I found that I was able to learn quickly and I was pushed to learn more. This was a good lesson that helped me improve my vocabulary.

My first lesson with Kyoko today was really great! I felt comfortable speaking to her even though my level is low, and we laughed a lot too. She is very outgoing and fun to talk to. In terms of the lesson, Kyoko provided good class materials and I was able to practice lots of different grammar points. I look forward to future lessons with her ^^

Kyoko 先生's lessons are always fun and interesting. Even though I've been taking Japanese lessons for many years it is still difficult for me to actively participate in a full hour of conversation. Kyoko-sensei deftly guides the conversation to make it easier for me to participate and learn new sentence patterns. Today's lesson topics were 1)typical phrases used at restaurants and 2)discussing health and well being.

Kyoko先生’ｓ lessons are always interesting and fun. She uses great materials and fashions lessons that are at the perfect level for me to learn, review and be challenged in a positive way. In order to improve my vocabulary and reading skills I'm trying to learn some kanji. Kyouko-san is very patient and uses good materials to help me in this endeavor. The lesson was challenging but I learned some new characters. I will try to practice more before my next lesson.きょうこさん、レッスンをくださってありがとうございました。少しずつ練習をしつづけています。がんばります。

This was a great lesson with a very enthousiastic and gentle teacher.
Kyoko-sensei is very clear to understand and speaks perfect English. She gaves me useful comments in the chat box everytime I needed a correction, the conversation was natural without any blank.
Definitely booking again and definitely recommend! -

Kyoko=Sensei's lessons are quite easy to follow. She has an easy ability to explain in either Japanese or English and she makes the lesson quite enjoyable. I appreciate her gentleness and enthusiasm.

This is my 3rd "Let's learn Japanese with pictures" lesson taught by Kyoko-san. She chooses a variety of pictures to make learning fun, interesting and interactive. Her lessons are a great way to learn and reinforce both vocabulary and grammar. Kyoko先生’s kanji lessons are interactive and fun. She caters to my level and challenges me to think, read and write simple words and sentences using elementary school 1st and 2nd grade kanjis. She gives good pointers on how to write kanji characters and sends review notes after the lessons that explain characters or words that I had gotten wrong. After many years of trying to learn Japanese without learning kanji I happy to have found Kyoko先生’s lessons. きょうこ先生、漢字レッスンをくださってありがとうございました。ではまたね。
