With Cathy, Speaking English is not a big deal because Cathy is always willing to hear what you say and share some life stories with you. If you have any question, Cathy kindly prepares all the possible answers for you and work with you for your weakness. But, there is something that makes way different from other teachers. She listens to you like your friend rather than your teacher. So, you feel much relaxed and even excited to share your daily life with her. Every single classes i had with Cathy never had any worries or anxieties, only with fun moments. Don't hesitate to take Cathy's class, She will teach you definately more than what you expect. To practice your speaking skill and to talk like a native speaker, you really need a teacher like Cathy. You will be surpised how fast the time flies while learning with her.

I haven't quite spoken in English for a while and feel little nervous, but Cathy is always kind and patient with beautiful smiles on her face. So, I feel relaxed and excited about her classes. She teaches me what and how native speakers speak and it's more than enough for me to practice my English in a proper way. If you feel shy somehow and really nervous to talk with native speakers, Cathy is definately the one who you are looking for! She's superb!

Another amazing lesson! I wrote 4 short essays for speech based on statistics about comparisons between Japan and the US. Her lesson is always creative.

The theme of this week was forming an argument. I learned vocabulary and phrases about this theme, read an article, wrote an essay from both sides of an argument, listened to a debate on TED Talks, practiced pronunciation during a week. I learned a lot and enjoyed all lessons with Cathy!

It was a listening lesson about a debate on the TED Talks. I always listened to a video before the lesson. During the lesson, I usually summarize the video, give my opinion, answer some questions and have discussions about the topic. They are great training!
