I enjoyed the whole lesson it was really fun again. I learnt a lot of interesting things, I had good listening, speaking and pronunciation practise.
Aya Sensei always keeps it fun with her voicing - she's very good at it! Her explanations are good and makes it motivating to study, :) -

It was a very fun lesson! We talked a bit at the start and I kindly had corrections typed for me. Aya Sensei explained grammar well as well as explaining well where I made a mistake. I had my pronunciation checked which was extremely useful for me. She told me interesting things about Japan as well with links. With her voice she makes reading out very fun, I enjoyed the whole lesson!

It was a very fun lesson which I laughed quite a lot throughout it! I learnt quite a bit including about a traditional toy I didn't know about, it was all very interesting! Aya's fun voicing when reading makes things more easier to understand and remember!

I had a good lesson and happy how it went. Reading out loud and listening to sentences was great. I even had my pronunciation corrected! Repeating the sentences really helped me a lot as my memory isn't good. I'll look forward to having lessons again!

Very fun lesson! My pronunciation was being carefully check all way through so it good to keep practising repeating. Reading out loud can be a bit of a challenge but I enjoyed every minute of it! I'm looking forward to completing the book. :)

It was a very fun lesson, though sometimes it was a bit hard to continue reading because Aya Sensei made me laugh so much!
She was carefully checking my pronunciation and was able to explain in English which her English sounded very good! I look forward to having reading lessons again! -

I was good practising reading out loud and Aya Sensei kept checking my pronunciation all way through and correcting me. At the end of the lesson I had common mistakes I did pointed out which was very useful to know so I can improve. The first book was a bit hard for me but she very quickly found an easier book which was just right for my level.

Aya-sensei quickly pointed out the areas in which I need practice. We talked a bit about different ways of self-studying and she recommended me a lot of materials. Even though I made a lot of mistakes when I spoke, she corrected me in such a way that I did not feel discouraged. Overall, I had a good experience and I feel motivated to study further.

While reading out loud Aya-sensei also corrects intonation/pitch accent which helps me a lot! We also talked about the history and context of the story. I look forward to reading with her again in the future.

I really enjoyed my first class with Aya-sensei.
She is very cheerful, fun and ready to adapt to any learning situation. I am a beginner with little conversation skill, most teachers are afraid of this, but Aya-sensei immediately came up with a learning strategy and we had such a great class together. As a student, I enjoyed every second of it. ありがとうございます。 -

This was a great first lesson. I am still nervous about speaking Japanese but Aya Sensei made me feel comfortable right away. I had many opportunities for Japanese conversation and reading. Most important for me, Aya Sensei quickly assessed my ability level and my learning practices, and she made some very useful suggestions about how I could better use my study time in the future to enhance both my reading and comprehension at the same time. I learned a lot during this lesson. At the end I felt I had accomplished something and felt challenged to do still more. I think that's what great teachers do! Highly recommended.

It's great that Aya sensei can communicate in English, so it will be more comfortable for beginners like me who can't really speak Japanese well yet. The lesson she chose for beginners is easy to understand. And the best thing is that she focuses on your pronunciation and accent, so it will be great for beginners who wants to speak correct Japanese

I took a trial lesson with Sensei and realized after that I might have a LONG way to go before getting to N1! But Sensei patiently explained the grammar and kanji in the short passage that we did together.

I really enjoyed lesson again, Aya Sensei is a very fun person. :) Explanations are clear with examples shown, also it was very helpful to know about pitch accent and pronunciation corrections.
