After confirmation of the lesson I sent a piece of my diary and Bettie sent back with correction. In the lesson, I read aloud the diary and she corrected my pronunciation and we discuss some topics. I have learned many descriptive expressions and natural expressions. Time passed very quickly because the lesson was very meaningful for me.

Thank you, Bettie, for the lesson. It was fun to learn some interesting expressions that are hard to understand for non-native English speakers. The message from the speaker is much clearer now. The research might be a bit biased since they conducted it with specific groups of people in a specific location. Also, the result would be different when millennials reach octogenarians. Still it was a very interesting research and I felt like I learned good tips for happiness and health :) I thought It was almost romantic in a way that this research was handed over from a generation to another for 75 years ! It was such a pleasure discussing it with you and I’ll look for another good topic for next lesson.

It was a valuable time for me. I took this lesson because I thought I need to practice conversation in order to get rid of fear of making mistakes and being unable to find proper expressions when I speak English. As we talked, Bettie used some phrasal verbs which I didn't understand. She typed them and explained the meanings of them, so I was able to have conversation and learn some phrasal verbs at the same time. On top of that, those phrases are used in the real context, so it was easy to understand the meaning of them. She is calm but cheerful and lets me speak at my own pace, or I was able to talk without losing my head.
She also sent me detailed feedback with phrases used in the lesson and more useful information for further study. I hope to take another lesson with her soon.

It was a very pleasant lesson. Bettie made sure that I understand everything in the chosen topic, providing example of certain words and explaining clearly some difficult expressions.
