Talking with Fukumaru sensei is like talking to an old time friend. In the beginning as a musician i was interested in her teaching of Japanese music. But she is much more than a music teacher so very soon it became a very good way to improve my Japanese too because she can talk about any topic other than music and patiently switch from Japanese to english if necessary.
I am very satisfied. Five stars! -

It was my first time to attend music lesson in Cafetalk. The tutor is very nice and professional. I really appreciated that she sent me the lecture notes in advanced before the lesson. Then, I might have plenty of time to pre-watch the video clips which the tutor recommended. With the help of the PowerPoint, I had the background information of Japanese history and ancient Japanese music. I was very happy that she often encouraged me to express my opinion about the music she recommended. Thankfully, I learnt a lot in this lesson. Thanks you very much.

Yurino sensei has helped me not only get more comfortable with playing piano to the point where I not only play with both hands, but also read the music sheets. This is compared to when I first started with her and my confidence with my piano skills was very low. Will definitely continue our lessons! Thanks again, Yurino sensei!

Yuka taught me a lot of useful information and corrected my posture in a professional way. Her lesson was not only fun but also enlightening. It was really my pleasure to learn that much valuable knowledge from Yuka.

Learning Japanese through Japanese songs is a very interesting approach. Particulary, Ayaka-sensei was nice, friendly and patient. I truly enjoyed my initial introductory lesson with her.

Thank you Karin for the great lesson! She is very friendly and kind. I feel comfortable taking lessons from her. She not only gives me good structural feedback, but also provides detailed techniques that are required for playing any pieces. Although i am not very good at playing the piano, Karin encourages me every time I play. Thanks again!
