Thanks very much for the lesson! Amao sensei is very kind and attempts to push you outside of your comfort zone. He made it very easy to talk at my particular level of conversation even though it's quite hard for me to think of the right word quite often. Until next time!

Lessons with Amano sensei are always fun and very useful at the same time. He customizes the lessons to your needs instead of having a stiff program, so it's very useful to work on your weak points. He also explains very clearly and kindly, and also sends you useful material after class. I'll be looking forward to the next lesson!

Even though I live in Japan, I don't really talk much to Japanese people. Part of the reason is that the Japanese people around me have different interests. After this trial lesson with amao-sensei, I feel like I found a person I can actually talk to... in Japanese, of course.

The lesson with Amao sensei went really well. There were some connection problems on my side for the first lesson, and he kindly gave me a coupon so we could re-do the lesson! His explanations are also very easy to understand. I definitely think he either has a lot of experience, or has a talent for description.

I had an excellent first lesson with Amano-sensei. He was really easy to talk to, and the lesson was easy to follow. I found the way he explains things in simple Japanese very helpful. I look forward to talking with him more and improving my Japanese.

I had 2 lessons(including Free trial) with him so far, and I'm extremely satisfied with them. He is always patient and I found his comments(and feedbacks after the lesson) really encouraging. He is very much capable of explaining things in either English or (easier) Japanese. I feel like he puts in his best effort into every lesson that he does with his students. He also didn't mind doing some extra stuff for me which meant spending his personal time. By all means, he is really the best teacher you could have :)

Amano sensei is one of my favorite first recommended Japanese tutors to beginners and intermediate and higher. Amano sensei caters to one's level and explains translations in English if you do not understand it in Japanese.

Great lesson I enjoyed being able to speak in Japanese more than I do on my own. I also liked how we both struggled with translating but worked through it together. I highly recommend Amao-sensei for beginners and intermediate level Japanese speakers. He was very patient and understanding of me when I made mistakes.

For me, having fun and engaging conversations are important to learning the language.
Amao Sensei's lessons seem fun based on this first trial lesson and consultation.
Whenever there was something I couldn't understand, he was able to rephrase it in simpler Japanese, or speak slower.
For the consultation, he asked a lot of questions to gauge my level, and took notes on learning requirements to cater for in future lessons.
I'll be booking another lesson.

Amao-Sensei was very easy to talk to and was very patient any time I was searching for a word or trying to figure out how to say something. The entire conversation was in Japanese, with only a few words in English when he was explaining a couple words I didn't know.
We was extremely punctual and we had a good conversation. I would especially recommend Amao-Sensei to anyone looking for good conversation practice and an immersive Japanese learning experience. Highly recommended.
