Great lesson! My daughter (6 years old) enjoy Mieko sensei's lesson very much. Mieko sensei is very engaged, and great at introducing and emphasizing new words that my daughter is clearly eager to say (but did not have the vocabulary for). I'm glad my daughter can learn more Japanese is such a fun, engaging and immersive way. Thank you, Mieko sensei!

Wonderful first lesson! Mieko sensei was so encouraging, and I was surprised how much my daughter could communicate in Japanese with Mieko sensei. My daughter(6 yrs old) loved Mieko sensei's lesson! Looking forward to future lessons!

Mieko Sensei was great. I really enjoyed speaking with her. She made me feel I could talk a little Japanese. She took interest in me personally which made our conversation very enjoyable and fun. I was able to push myself to speak in Japanese. She was very friendly and nice. I look forward to seeing her soon again.

Mieko-san is one of the best Japanese teachers! Even though I have a lot of difficulty expressing myself in Japanese and I am not at all confident, Mieko-san always understands me. She is very easy to listen to and understand. I appreciate the effort she puts in to our conversation. She is always lovely. Thank you!

I chose the Mothers and Japanese lesson. It was really fun!
Meiko sensei is so kind so I didn't feel nervous.
I listened to sensei's stories about childcare and I also asked questions.
My son also joined us a little and he seemed to have fun.

Mieko-san is a very good teacher. My Japanese is not the best, especially my grammar. Mieko-san always listens to me and makes the best attempt to understand what I’m trying to say to her. She is an excellent kanji teacher, and I definitely recommend her lessons. I did not know about the balance of the kanji before she told me! I feel like I am always learning something and that I will continue to improve. I also highly recommend Mieko-san to mothers. She understands the busy life of a mother (as she is a mother herself), and can chat with you about different experiences you have as a parent. Mieko-san is kind and patient.

Did a 25 min chat lesson with Mieko S. it was a straightforward process. I took a peek at her profile and lesson offerings. It was effortless to connect. Skype launched, and it took about three minutes to join and get set up. There wasn't much structure to the session, but it was great. Mostly q&a style, but it was very engaging. Mieko was very patient and flexible. We went back and forth between Japanese and English. She did a great job repeating in Japanese and spoke at an appropriate pace. Mieko did an excellent job of keeping the conversation engaging and moving.

Mieko-sensei is so easy to speak with. She knows how to keep the conversation flowing and only helps my Japanese when I completely stuck. I like how she lets me talk and then repeats what I have said, but in the correct manner. I really enjoyed speaking with her.

I have a need to learn Japanese phrases for a particular work situation that I'm sure I will face in the next week or so. Mieko-sensei gave me those phrases and helped me understand their nuance.

Teacher Mieko is quite friendly and easygoing, so you won't be concerned whether your Japanese level is not enough. Besides, Teacher Mieko knew a lot of things, your can totally feel free to practice your Japanese with her.
