A very interesting and enjoyable free-talk lesson with Fukumaru-sensei. She's very easy to converse with and she's also very knowledgeable about traditional Japanese music. Highly recommend for those wanting to practice Japanese conversation.

Talking with Fukumaru sensei is like talking to an old time friend. In the beginning as a musician i was interested in her teaching of Japanese music. But she is much more than a music teacher so very soon it became a very good way to improve my Japanese too because she can talk about any topic other than music and patiently switch from Japanese to english if necessary.
I am very satisfied. Five stars! -

It was my first time to attend music lesson in Cafetalk. The tutor is very nice and professional. I really appreciated that she sent me the lecture notes in advanced before the lesson. Then, I might have plenty of time to pre-watch the video clips which the tutor recommended. With the help of the PowerPoint, I had the background information of Japanese history and ancient Japanese music. I was very happy that she often encouraged me to express my opinion about the music she recommended. Thankfully, I learnt a lot in this lesson. Thanks you very much.

It was a short and interesting lesson on Japanese music. Even though I didn't know much about Japanese traditional musical instruments, I enjoyed my engaging and interesting conversation with Fukumaru-sensei.
