Today, I talked about many things but couldn't express my thought well because shortage of my vocabulary. Tanya has correct my grammar timely and suggested right words when I struggled to express my opinion. It was a very good to test my speaking skill sometimes. There were many new things I learned in the lesson and I have more to go, which makes me very excited. The material she uses is very good. How she speaks reminds me of Venetia Stanley-Smith on NHK TV program. So, I guess Venetia's English is also the Queens English that she was speaking in the lesson. And I am very happy that I have this opportunity to learn British English in detail here because I've always wanted it. I would love to have more classes with her here.

Tanya's lesson is always very helpful and useful for daily life. We discussed about the current general situation and then based on my work situation. It was a really good training for me that I could express my thoughts in English. During the conversation, she corrects my sentences and grammar if those were inappropriate. I took her lesson for the first time. When I travelled in UK, I encountered horse guards and carriages on the street, so I ‘d like to know the horse culture in UK. I have not spoken in English for a while, so I was struggled to speak and often asked her to repeat questions. She patiently listen my talk and provided interesting house culture in U.K. and idioms. After the lesson, she sent me a file including many idioms about horses, which we couldn’t cover in the lesson. I looked up all the idioms in dictionaries. It was fan to know new words, and speaking English activated my brain. I ‘d like to take her another lesson. -

In Tanya's lesson, I always learn not only just English but also English culture. It is very helpful and important to me. She also check my incorrect sentences during our conversation and give me right sentences in writing.

I have learned about features of old house in UK and upmarket restaurant menu today. Tanya uses very interesting materials which I enjoy to learn. This was my second lesson with Tanya. As I wanted to review my weak point in grammar, which was 1st and 2nd conditional, I requested a grammar lesson. From the beginning, she talked about her tooth trouble using conditional as an example, so I felt it was really practical.
I enjoyed her lesson with her interesting original text, which gave me a new point of view about the conditional. I'd like to continue her lesson. -

A new year started! I am happy to have a Tanya's class on the new year's day. It was again very fun to learn about UK's foods and local words. Also I have learnt the phrases of asking in polite way. It was a very fun lesson on the Christmas day! I could learn about Christmas culture in UK with very fun materials. Many things are different with Christmas between Europe and Japan. Not only learning English but also learning about culture is very valuable to me.
