We had a very fun first lesson! My 4th grader clearly enjoyed drawing this magically powerful superhero with Nick, using colored pencils. Why the lesson's great: (1) Nick's very professional, (2) you can feel that he loves teaching art (and his art is awesome!) and (3) he encourages the use of imagination over just copying what he draws. We are so glad we found him!

I enjoyed the lesson with Nic. He is gentle, never gets angry even if my speaking skills are poor. I can recommend him as a great teacher as well as a good cook of Italian cuisine.

I took this LET’S DRAW PEOPLE lesson for the first time. I finally finished a drawing of a man’s face under Nick’s energetic guidance. Nick taught me how to draw the outline of the face and how to put the shading on it. His advice is always helpful and thoughtful. I definitely recommend this lesson to all people who are interested in drawing people.

Since I wasn't good at watercolor painting when I was a teenager, I've been wanting to get over it. Then I decided to take up Nick's art class and learned watercolor painting from scratch. It was the first time that I was able to learn how to use water and brush effectively. It was totally an eye opener to me!

Nick's lesson is one of the most excellent and helpful to improve listening and speaking skills. I think Nick always does a brilliant job of that.
The feedback after the lesson is also excellent and very helpful for learning. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Nick and continuing to do so. -

He is a very flexible and has gentle atmosphere that you won't get nervous at all even if you have a lesson with him for the first time.
As you can see on his profile, he has a plenty professional experience both in art and at restaurants. You'll be able to learn very specific things related to those fields. In the meantime, he's also knowledgeable in many other fields, so I can assure you that you'll learn a lot of things you're interested in with his enthusiasm for teaching.
Every time I have a lesson with Nick, it always makes me feel great and we laugh a lot on various topics.

Thanks to Nick's advice, I am getting used to Acrylic painting. I learned how to make Gradation of a grass field and how to represent a flash of lightning paint dark sky. It was really fun.

Nick is such a great artist. His finishing touch to his artwork always makes it fantastic and lovely. I learned a lot just by looking at the movement of his paint brush. No worries even if you are not fluent in English. He talks in simple English and understands Japanese language well. Just follow his advice, so you will be able to make a nice painting!

Acrylic panting was new for me, but Nick carefully taught me how to paint on a canvas with acrylic paints step by step, so that I could easily blend colors and put it on the canvas. We could make a nice acrylic painting through this lesson, actually which is unfinished, but it looks like a finished one, because it’s so beautiful. More than anything, his lesson was so enjoyable that we were unconscious of the passage of time.

I learned Abstract Art from Nick and made beautiful color gradation on watercolor paper. I soaked in the fun atmosphere of being a kid again!
