First she told that meet source pasta and Neapolitan pasta weren’t Italian foods, they were Japanese foods.
She showed me a black pasta that made in squid ink, it’s Italian pasta.
Then she showed me a pasta with some shellfish, it’s also Italian pasta.
However, I like meet source pasta and dislike seafoods, so she said “you haven’t eaten Italian pasta.”
It was interesting.

I showed the pictures, Zarusoba, Tempura Soba, Tukemen, Ramen.
She had eaten them other than Tukemen.

I´m happy that I found Flavia here on Cafetalk. It is a lot of fun talking to her. 30 minutes go by so fast every time and I can feel comfortable talking Italian with her.

Flavia´s lessons are always a lot of fun. I asked her if we could review a specific grammatical pattern and she prepared everything perfectly. I also got a great written overview and homework to practice what we´ve learned. That is very helpful. I´m already looking forward to the next lesson :)

After a long break due to the current situation I was finally able to have another lesson with Flavia. Even though I haven´t spoken Italian for a long time, it was easy to talk to Flavia, because she can always create a comfortable atmosphere and is very patient and gentle.
It is like talking to a friend and time went by so fast. I´m already looking forward to the next lesson :) -

She imagined that all buildings and houses were Japanese historical type.
But actually the canter of g the Kyoto, it had a lot of modern buildings.
The guide book introduced only Japanese historical type buildings and houses in Kyoto.
She was amazed to feel the difference of her imagination.
But if I go to Italy, I’ll experience the same situation.
We understand the difference the reality from imagination by traveling.

I introduced the many places in Japan to her, but when I read our Skype messages that we talked, I felt that I didn’t introduce my hometown.
So we talked about my hometown on the lesson.
My hometown is famous for the old castle.
I showed the pictures of the castle, inside the castle, the shrine in front of the castle, the town in front of the castle .
I explained Ema, the boards that we write our wishes.
I introduced the restaurant.
At the restaurant we can drink the coffee that is drown the castle with brown sugars.

First I introduced about the park that had many plum trees.
The plum trees were in full blooms.
Second I introduced the shrine in the rock of the mountain.
I talked that we had to walk difficult road to reach there.
Furthermore we had to wear slippers that was made of straw.
Because we visitors experienced what monks did. It’s a sacred activity.
Third I introduced the village that people stopped to rest while they were traveling.
In the past time there were a lot of inns.
