Every day this week I have had either a 50 minute or 80 minute lesson with Maki Sensei. I can really see my Japanese improving. Maki Sensei gives me the chance to speak and feel comfortable trying a lot of grammar out that I probably wouldn't try in a group class. I am looking forward to gradually improving with Maki Sensei's lessons.

It was an excellent lesson. She is so enthusiastic and helpful! At one point I forgot something that I learned several months ago and, rather than just tell me the answer, she led me to come up with it on my own, which is much better.

I had a great lesson today after not speaking any Japanese for a few weeks. Maki San gave me good advice about my general questions, and we used our text book to study in depth the grammar we had been working on. I enjoy Maki Sensei's lessons very much and I can't believe that 80 minutes goes by so quickly. Her one to one lessons are a big improvement to my group classes I was taking where there was no chance to speak. I spoke more in her 80 minute lesson than I would all week at a group lesson.

The lesson was excellent. I was a little under the weather this week and hadn't really grasped the material as thoroughly as I would have liked, but she is so patient and encouraging that the lesson was excellent anyway.

I booked the 80 minute lesson, but the lesson went over 80 minutes as we were both talking and getting a lot of topics and grammar points learnt. Maki San is always cheerful and a good listener I am able to speak to her more than my group lessons.
