We discussed about a certain phrase that has a totally different meaning from what I learned at school. Dani was surprised by the fact that dictionaries and grammar books don't explain it, because for her, it's a very common usage. Language is not only what are taught in textbooks, but also what are used in daily conversations by real people. That's why it's important to have a good teachers who are willing to teach those things with patience. Thankfully, Dani is a very patient teacher.

Today we had a nice chat as usual. And as always, Dani's review tells me how I should have said in the lesson; which is very helpful because those sentences mean exactly what I wanted to say. So I will be able to use them in the future conversations with others. 15 minutes seem to be short, but actually, this lesson is so fulfilling that I can learn a lot.

We have a really nice chat today. While we are talking, Dani tries to think of letting me know new expressions to me and she summarize them in the end of the lesson; which helps me anchor those new expressions in my mind. And of course, I am always looking forward to her wonderful review. I am sure she will send it to me pretty soon. (The lesson finished just now.) Needless to say, the review is always great.

Today Dani suggested to go over yesterday's lesson since I didn't understand well what Dani had said in the last lesson. That was very helpful. I knew what I didn't understand and now I understand what Dani actually said in the last lesson. I think it is very good practice for listening and speaking that we have just natural conversation in one lesson and then we review what we were talking about in the next lesson, especially about what I haven't understood well. Everyone knows she has wonderfully organized lesson plans, but not only them, I think she is also very good at coming up with a good lesson for each student.

Today we had a natural conversation. I think Dani spoke to me in a very natural way today on purpose according to this lesson's character. So her way of speaking was very fast and it was difficult for me to understand sometimes, but that was a good practice for listening to natural conversations, since usually English conversation teachers speak clearly and slowly, and they use mainly plain English. But 15 minutes was totally enough for concentrating on her speaking. I will try to understand her more tomorrow than today.

初めてのレッスンだったので、お互い手探りだったような気がします。
先生は非常に優しく話を聞いてくれますし、話しやすいレッスン展開を
してくれますので、構えることなくレッスンを受ければ良かったと思ってます。

Today I asked Dani to do kind of picture description and free conversation in this lesson. She is always energetic even when she is tired; which I was amazed by. And her lesson review is always wonderful. I enjoyed talking with her as usual.

She is always thinking about students and very enthusiastic about helping students. In this lesson, we had a good free conversation about several topics; which was very fun. And as usual, her review is very helpful. She writes the natural way of saying for what I really said in the lesson, so that I can use the expressions next time I want to say the same thing. For that, I can practice reading the sentences in the review out loud. I think that's very helpful.

It's for the test, but it's good that I was able to learn some phrasal verbs spontaneously by making sentences and having relaxed conversation with Dani.(^^)v -

Today, I asked Dani to do "Pinterest & Phrasal Verbs" lesson, but we talked a little bit too long to do both of the lessons and we did only Pinterest lesson. Actually, natural conversation was also a good practice and Pinterest lesson was wonderful as usual, but since we couldn't do phrasal verbs lesson today, she offered "mini English composition lesson" with phrasal verbs that we couldn't go over in the lesson but she explained in detail in her review. She is very enthusiastic about teaching English always.

In Dani's review, there are lots of new expressions for me. What she wrote is what I had wanted to say. So I can use them in real conversations. In that sense, even though it's a free conversation lesson, her review is always very helpful. And I also enjoyed talking with her in the lesson as usual.
