Yet another excellent lesson. The time passes so quickly! I have been reading a short story that she gave me in Japanese and working through it. I have learned a great deal and had a lot of fun at the same time. Her explanations are clear and so helpful!

Another excellent lesson. When you make a mistake, she corrects you, but she has a knack for doing it in a very gentle way. I am enjoying the lessons and learning a great deal of Japanese at the same time.

Makisan explains grammar concept very clearly through the use of examples. Her explanation is easy to understand. She is also punctual, and provides lesson feedback right away. I have been taking lessons from her for 2 years already.

I am now gradually working my way through an exciting short story that she found for me. The process has been hard but fun, and she has been of tremendous help. She has a real talent for adapting the lessons to the needs of the students.

She is an excellent tutor! She was able to take some things that didn't make sense to me and explain them so that I understood them. She also gave me some new material to meet my current needs. I don't know how she manages to take a lesson filled with material and make it fun as well as great for learning, but she does.

Another excellent lesson! I can remember how scared I was when I logged on for my very first lesson. Now, I look forward to my lesson each week because I know that I will have fun and learn a lot. This week she walked me through three terms that have very close to the same meaning but which are not interchangeable. After her explanation, I was able to work through a series of questions on the topic and get every one of them right!

Wow, what a great lesson. I asked to go over a reading together, and we went over it sentence by sentence. I learned so much, and she explained the meaning and structure of the difficult sentences very clearly.

She does an excellent job of drawing you on to speak and to use the language, and she explains things very well. The lessons are truly outstanding.

One of her many strengths is her ability to adapt to the student's needs. We are looking at a study plan for this year and altering as required. That flexibility is a great advantage in an instructor

I am looking forward to a new year of lessons. Every lesson has been fun but full of information. When I look back at how much I have learned through these lessons, I am really astonished. Without these lessons and such a wonderful teacher, I would know so much less than I do! She is such an excellent teacher! She has true gift for teaching.

Another wonderful lesson. She is an excellent teacher who adapts herself well to the circumstances of her students. She is encouraging and helpful. The lessons are so much fun, and the time really flies, yet, at the same time, she uses excellent materials and a student can advance rapidly with her guidance and help.

Maki-sensei always provides great material and gives great recommendations on how to work on whatever needs you are currently focusing on. Even if it is free talk, Maki sensei is always quick to correct and point out how to use the word properly or introduces new words to enrich your vocabulary. Thank you again for another great lesson.

Maki-sensei always keeps in mind what your overall goals are and will always link the lesson back to what your needs are. Although Maki-sensei keeps a casual and friendly atmosphere, she is always quick correct mistakes and gives great feedback. Every lesson is always fun and always learn something new.
