Mumusuke is an absolutely excellent tutor. She allows me to learn at my own speed and quickly adapts to any curve balls that I throw her! There is always great follow-up in her notes. I love it when she explains about the cultural nuances which can't be found in a textbook. She has taken my Japanese to a whole other level. Highly recommended! A+++

Very good lesson! Lessons with mumusuke are always fun and I always learn something new. We've been working through the Genki I textbook, after going over a section we do some of the practice sections then at the end mumusuke asks me to do more of the practice section work and send her my work. It's very good for learning and practicing writing, I love it!

I was nervous to take a lesson because I am almost an absolute beginner, but Aya-sensei is very good at explaining in English! I had so much fun, I can't wait to practice more. Aya-sensei also provides a very good follow-up and homework for practice in-between lessons. She provides a lot of material and also variety, which are well-organized and helpful. I am excited to learn Japanese, she really motivated me to try hard!! Thank you!!! ^_^

This meeting was primarily for consultation, and it was already helpful! Mumusuke-sensei has a lot of materials, and is even willing to purchase the textbook you use if she doesn't already have it and you need help. I highly recommend the reading practices she provides though - they're really funny and interesting!
I recommend at least taking a trial lesson with her for sure!

I was really nervous at first since this was my first time using CafeTalk but the lesson went very smoothly and Aya sensei is very nice and really easy to talk to. I had a lot of fun talking with her and figuring out a good place for future lessons to start. I am very excited to learn more Japanese from Aya sensei.

I had a great time reading the other day! It was my first lesson from her so I wasn't sure what to expect, but she was really kind and patient even though I was reading very slowly. She took the time to make me feel at ease, which I really appreciated as I'm quite shy. I had a lot of fun sensei, I hope to learn with you again!

The lesson was amazing! I loved it a lot! It was very informative and helped me a lot to further understand Japanese Grammar and Kanji. When I didn't understand something, she would paraphrase it or give me very good and funny examples! She was smiling all the time, what created a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

A great first lesson. Mumusuke was very friendly and quickly adjusted to my level. I love that I got to struggle a bit with new words--now I'll never forget the words she taught me. Recommended!

Although I only had a trial lesson, Aya was very good and thorough with the text. She sent me a short story beforehand, and we read through it during the lesson. I would recommend this teacher to anyone who likes to read and wants some help reading Japanese.
