This was my first violin lesson with Stephen and I loved it! He is very kind and taught me solid basics from the beginning such as good bow hold and natural left hand frame. I also received a lot of ideas on how and what to practice. I'm looking forward to the next lesson!

Fukumaru sensei is very gentle and kind! I really enjoyed learning a little bit about the shamisen today, and I'm looking forward to taking more lessons with her to expand my understanding of traditional Japanese instruments! I highly recommend!

This was a very interesting introduction to traditional Japanese music. Fukumaru-sensei is an expert in the area and so was able to explain the origins of the instruments as well as other aspects of Japanese music. Highly recommended for anyone interested in traditional Japanese music.
