Before the lesson started, I sent some grammar questions to Mika sensei. During the lesson, Mika sensei explained more than I thought! For example, I asked about ている is like Ving? then Mika sensei gave me at least 5 or 6 explanations of ている. Each one Mika sensei gave an example, so I could learn each different meaning easily. Also, Mika sensei asked me to make some sentence, it really made me to know if I understood the grammar or not. After the lesson, Mika sensei sent the note to me, concluding all the grammar explanations and examples sentences which Mika sensei talked during the lesson. The note is very detailed, I must say that it really helps a lot!! Mika sensei is a very friendly teacher, and I learned much more than I thought before. Really appreciate about Mika sensei's lesson. ありがとうございました！

I find Mika-sensei great for having interesting discussions on various topics. She is good at leading the conversation and provides excellent feedback after the lesson. Highly recommended for those wanting conversation practice in Japanese.

I learned so much today! We talked about food and eating out, so I learned a bunch of new vocabulary related to cooking, washing dishes, freezing food, etc. It was very satisfying. Mika先生 is super nice and knows what students need for learning in a better way.
In this class, she designs the class in a way that beginners would learn more effectively and speak more confidently.
Also, she'd point out the key differences in some similar sentence structures for us to understand the correct way to distinguish the two phrases.
The class is even more colorful than the textbook!! ;)
