Thank you for your fun and interesting lesson about Egyptian food and culture!
I’ve always been interested in Egyptian culture and history, but I never really had the chance to learn about it in depth (besides for my history classes back in high school), so it was interesting to hear about the historical and cultural backgrounds of some of Egypt’s staple dishes! I can’t wait to try making them myself:)
エジプトの文化や歴史に興味がありながらも、高校の世界史の授業以外であまり学ぶ機会がなかったので、Ray先生のレッスンを受講してみました。とても分かりやすく説明してくれるので、英語が中級レベル以上の方であれば問題ないと思います。レッスン後も材料や作り方について詳しくまとめたノートを送ってくれたので、これから自分でチャレンジするのが楽しみです＾＾ -

We talked about Egyptian culture, especially her religion.
She showed me some pictures and YouTube video to introduce her culture.
She explained them clearly, so I understood them.
I felt her culture was different from Japanese one, so it’s interesting.
We enjoyed the lesson. -

She listened to my story and answered my questions simply, so I felt easier to talk with her.
She typed sentences and phrases that I didn’t express on chat without stopping our conversation.
Her teaching skill is very high level.

This was a wonderful book club lesson, perfect for the upcoming Christmas season. We read A Kidnapped Santa Claus, which was truly fascinating. While some of the vocabulary was new to me, I could practice it before reading the story. Thank you, Ray, for organizing such a delightful reading experience. I highly recommend this lesson to anyone who wants to enjoy reading or rediscover the joy of reading.
