Today we talked about 기로 하다. Korean is such a nuanced language so it was great to learn about how one grammar pattern is similar yet different from another. SIZZ 선생님 also clearly explained the differences between 이미, 벌써 and 이제 using a funny scenario. These words come up a lot in all kinds of Korean media and I understand the meaning of it, but only today did I realize how nuanced each word means! I appreciate SIZZ 선생님's clear explanation using examples and scenarios to make sure I understand what he's explaining. I look forward to the next one!

I enjoyed today's class with SIZZ 선생님. We started by catching up about how we've been and SIZZ 선생님 cheerfully congratulated me on something great that happened to me, which I truly appreciated! Then we dove deeper into a grammar pattern I was confused about. SIZZ 선생님 provided a clear, easy-to-understand explanation with plenty of example sentences.

Today we started with some free-talking, catching up on how our week went, etc. and from our conversation I realized that I was confused about the differences between -ㄴ and -었던 (e.g., 입학한 and 입학했던). SIZZ 선생님 immediately gave me a clear explanation of the differences between the two. I could truly feel how knowledgeable SIZZ 선생님 was in teaching Korean. He also explained nuances 만나다 carries that I didn't know before. Furthermore, he explained about adding -만 after -더니. It was a packed, fulfilling 50-minute class. Looking forward to the next one!

Today we dove into the differences between -더니 and -었더니. I had thought they were similar but there were key differences between the two!! SIZZ 선생님 provided example sentences with his explanation so I was able to grasp the differences. He also explained nuances well. Since grammar patterns can be similar to one another, it's good to be able to understand nuances so I can use them correctly. I look forward to the next class, where we'll compare these two grammar patterns to other similar ones.

I take this class to learn deeply about grammar patterns I’m confused about, but SIZZ 선생님 makes it very interactive! It doesn’t feel like I’m in a traditional grammar class where I just listen and take notes. There’s a lot of back and forth in the class so it feels engaging. SIZZ 선생님 explains things with examples and even body movements at times to make sure I fully grasp what I’m studying. Also, SIZZ 선생님 speaks English well so he’s able to clearly articulate nuances. I notice that I’m now able to grasp these nuances when I watch kdramas!

Another great lesson learning grammar with SIZZ 선생님! I enjoyed the explanations on nuances that SIZZ 선생님 provided today. What was once confusing feels a lot clearer now. I look forward to next week's class, where we'll dive deeper into -었/았더니. Also, -더니 actually came up in the K-drama episode I was watching before taking SIZZ 선생님's class and I was like "Oh I completely understand the nuance now!" ^^ Since -더니 is a grammar pattern that I hear/see often, it's helpful (and fun) to be able to fully grasp its nuance in a sentence.

It was another fun and detailed lesson on -더니. SIZZ 선생님 made the class very interactive, so even though it was technically a grammar class, it was fun and I was still able to talk a lot. Also, SIZZ 선생님 made sure I understood what he just taught me before moving on to the next rule or exception. -더니 used to feel complicated to me due to its nuances but thanks to SIZZ 선생님's explanations, I am feeling more and more confident about using -더니. I look forward to next week's class!

Today we delved into the grammar -더니. It's something I tried studying on my own but I still didn't feel confident in my understanding of it, so I requested that we explore -더니 today. SIZZ 선생님 clearly explained the usage of -더니 in an easy-to-understand manner. I had a few questions about its differences from other grammar patterns and SIZZ 선생님 was able to clear up my confusion. SIZZ 선생님 is also proficient in English so he was able to clearly explain nuances too. I look forward to next week's lesson! 이해하기 쉽게 설명해주셔서 정말 감사합니다!

Today I took a trial lesson with SIZZ 선생님 to learn more about how the class will proceed. SIZZ 선생님 is proficient in English, so he was able to clearly articulate the differences in nuance between grammar tenses that I was curious about. He also showed the differences with movements and gestures to make sure I fully understood them. At this point in my Korean learning journey, I want to advance from a lower-intermediate level to an upper-intermediate one, and I feel like deepening my knowledge of grammar is important. I look forward to our first "real" class! :)

The teacher can explain the difference between the grammar points in English which is great for me to understand. He also writes down the new words and expressions for me to review later on. I am not afraid of making mistakes while talking to him. :)

The lesson today focused on some grammar points which I learned before, but I got to know more about them in terms of the usage. The teacher gave me some examples, so I was able to know the difference between the grammar points I was confused. Thanks again. :)

The teacher is very friendly. I can see that he has a lot of passion teaching Korean. I like the way he teaches Korean with the written handout because it's easier to be familiar with the structure. Thanks so much.

It was a very good lesson. I feel more confident reading Hangul now and feel more motivated to study more Korean language. He was able to explain to me about Korean language in both Japanese and English. My Japanese language is not perfect so I was relieved when he helped me understand in English too. Highly recommend!
