服装も含め紳士的な先生でした。事前の資料送付、レッスン中の説明のわかりやすさ、レッスン後の質問受付対応等、とても信頼できる先生だと思います。わかりやすい英語で説明してくれますし、生徒の質問や意見も聞いてくれます。じっくり真面目に取り組まれたい人におススメの先生です。
Throughout the whole process of taking the lesson, I found him to be a very reliable and effective English teacher. The material he sent me in advance was perfect for the topic. His explanation during the lesson was well thought and spot on. He offered to take questions at any time after the lesson. He is a good speaker and a great listener at the same time, would not dismiss your questions or opinions. He is a well-mannered and pleasant teacher I highly recommend for other English learners.

I think this was the third or fourth lesson with Art-sensei. I enjoyed learning with him just like I did in the past lessons.
Art-sense is a very warm, patient, and resourceful teacher. I appreciate his attention to detail. When he notices any errors in my writing or speaking, he explains why these errors should be amended. This includes minor errors that some other teachers might overlook.
I know my English is somehow understandable, but what I am looking to achieve is more than just "getting by".
Therefore, I am very grateful that Art-sensei's genuine interest in improving my English.
I've been working with many English teachers, but Art-sensei is one of the best!

アート先生とのレッスンはまだ3-4回目ですが、長年英語教えて下さった色々な先生と比べてもとても素晴らしい先生だと思います。
Native speakerの英語の先生の中には、文法的な質問に対しても「何となく」「そういうものだから」みたいな感じでしか教えて下さらない方もいます。私自身の英語のレベルですが「ある程度」「通じる程度」にはできるので、先生によっては「英語上手いね！」位な感じで間違いを指摘してくださらない方もいます。
英語は日本語と違って国際語ですので、エラーに対して寛容なのは分かりますし、生徒を勇気づけるという意味ではそういう先生も素晴らしいと思います。ただ、自分自身まだ自分の英語がつたないことはわかっていますので、間違いは指摘して向上させて欲しいという気持ちもあります。
Art先生はこちらの書いた文章（提出した課題だけでなく、通信文も含む）に対して注意を払って細かい所についても指摘してくださいます。その言い方も「まず全体としてはとてもいい」とか「このままでも全く間違いではないけど、こう言ったほうがNativeの耳には自然だよ」という風に指摘してくださいます。「ここは難しいからNativeでもよく間違えるよ」などという解説してくださる姿勢に「生徒の英語を向上させたい」という強い情熱を感じます。
この「生徒の能力を真の意味で向上させてあげたい」という姿勢は教師というお仕事において重要な資質だと思いますが、すべての先生の備わっているわけではないかなと思います。アート先生は豊富な英語の知識、指導の技術にさらに情熱を備えた稀有な先生だと思います。

I’m truly impressed by his attitude. He is incredibly professional. The vocabulary he uses is both classy and polite. When I need a lesson, I'll definitely request him!
